Big Ice är en heldagsaktivitet där du kommer att kunna njuta av Perito Moreno-glaciären från alla möjliga vinklar: från vattnet, från skogen, gränsar till moränen och gå över isen med stegjärn. Den totala varaktigheten av denna turné som lämnar hamnen "Bajo las sombras" och vänder tillbaka är cirka 7 timmar och 30 minuter. Längden på hela utflykten med transfer från El Calafate är cirka 11 timmar lång. Big Ice-turen äger rum i en naturlig miljö så klimatförhållandena och glaciärens egenskaper varierar dagligen! Detta gör att vi kan njuta av olika och icke-repeterbara upplevelser i världens vackraste glaciär!

Bussen avgår riktigt tidigt på morgonen, med en tvåspråkig guide (engelska/spanska) som kommer att ge information om omgivningen och som kommer att följa gruppen på väg till nationalparken Los Glaciares och under 1 timme i landningsbanan. Där har du en av de bästa panoramautsikterna över glaciären
Tillbaka på bussen reser du till hamnen "Bajo las sombras" och går ombord för att segla 20 minuter vid den argentinska sjöns "Rico"-arm. Framme på andra sidan sjön väntar framsidan av Perito Morenos södra mur.
När vi anländer till skyddsrummet kommer gruppen att välkomnas av experterna på bergsguiderna, som delar in oss i undergrupper och följer med oss på vandringen och hjälper till där det är nödvändigt och hjälper oss att tolka landskapet. I början vandrar vi i 2 timmar vid glaciärens morän varifrån vi ser olika panoramavyer över glaciären och skogen. Inför vår vandring på glaciären ska gruppen stanna för att njuta av en picknick mitt i naturen. I den här aktiviteten hittar du inga ställen att köpa mat eller dryck så du måste ta med den hela vägen från El Calafate. Det är oumbärligt för passagerarna att ta med sig maten i ryggsäcken.
När lunchen är över och isåtkomstpunkten är nådd kommer guider att hjälpa till med hjälmen, selen och stegjärnen för att komma igång med vår 3 timmar långa vandring. DEN STORA ISEN ÄR MYCKET PERSONLIG. Grupperna på isen kommer att vara upp till 10 personer, åtföljda av två bergsguider. Under turen på glaciären kommer du att se sprickor, laguner, bäckar, seracer och ibland isgrottor.
I slutet av isvandringen kommer returen att genomföras på samma väg som togs tidigare tills du når fristaden, där du har några minuter på dig att beundra glaciären en sista gång och ta båtturen tillbaka till hamnen.

I paid a large sum of money, on December 12, 2023 they wrote to me that they would refund me in 5 business days and today, January 3, they still have not done so.
Beautiful place... and simply exciting... I got opened with so much beauty... you hear a sound like thunder and the pieces of the glacier collapse... it's impressively beautiful...
It's absolutely magnificent, grandiose! We were fortunate to witness the dismemberment of two ice blocks at the same time. Indescribable the sound (like a thunder, an explosion). Formed a wave by the ice falling into the water. Sensational! Visit ♥️
There are no words about this place that can describe it. It is unique and the experience of this one there is amazing. While it is expensive, really every peso invested there is worth it.

A unique place. I went especially to Calafate by the Glacier and would return. It's shocking to see this landscape. 100% recommended.

It's probably one of the most impressive wonders of nature out there. The boat ride and walkway tour are truly fantastic. The bluish color of the ice, the sags of the ice blocks and the powerful noise generated by the cracks that occur are really overwhelming. Fully recommended. You have to see it once in a lifetime!

It is the 3rd time we go, it just leaves us wondering with its colors its noises its greatness!!! Highly recommended the hike. The economical sailing trip takes you 40 minutes by boat but for us we saw it better from the catwalk. The full day nautical excursion seemed crazy the price. That is to see the gl. upsala and spegazzini, they do not take so close to the floes for safety reasons, it gives the touch of gastronomy to add people. We did not do it because we found it pure business and very expensive. Of course we found out only one Enterprise. We have to find out more.

Navigation is a bit chaotic, obviously the appeal is outside and everyone wants to take pictures. It is best to leave the photo for the experts (or for the walk for you the ramp) enjoy the air and the view. The city of Calafate Centro is very small, you travel it in a day end to end. There is a Supermarket of The Anonymous, I suggest anyway bring fruit, water and something to eat to the excursions. Unmissable Lake Argentina 😍
