Big Five Classic Safari i Tanzania **Hållbart resande

We had an amazing time on our Big 5 Safari. Our guide Joseph Tilya was great! Everyday he asked us what animals we wanted to see and every time we saw every animal on our list ! He is experienced and knows how to read the animals. Knew where to position the jeep so that we’d get the most amazing shots. We saw the Big 5 into the Big 9 . It was truly amazing.

If your looking to book a safari I'd highly recommend world adventure tours, from the first contact I had with Sslly who has always replied promptly to any questions I've had it has been absolutely amazing,our guide Molla was exceptional his knowledge of animals birds etc was excellent ,not only while we we on safari but also gave us so much information about everyday life while we were driving around ,the amount of wild life we seen was amazing,Molla didn't give up until we saw the big five🙂thank you world adventure tours and Molla for life long memories.

Cant recommend this trip enough. The whole time was amazing. Jerry- our guide was fantastic, we saw all the big five and so much more, his knowledge and professionalism were 5 star. Wow! A "ten"- A+. First, the communication with the office was timely, professional and helpful all along. Thank you, Joyce! The itinerary was complete and perfectly executed. They did everything promised and more. (Yes, we saw the big five.) Every park had its own character with the Serengeti being beyond beautiful. We have the finest zoo in the world here, in San Diego, but seeing these animals run free in the wild (hunting even) takes your breath away. This land- Africa- is mesmerizing. What a rich history and culture. The guide Athanas was patient, expert with animals and history and culture and doing his job knowing where to go and when. Excellent English too. There was only one other couple in the jeep with us for the entire trip who were great and the experience felt very personal. The jeeps was open top, which is great. We asked countless questions and Athanas is like an encyclopedia - if you are old enough to know what that is! The accommodations were great, two were resort-like. The staff at Springlands, where we stayed most of our nights, is the most friendly and professional I have every enjoyed- especially "G" and Benjamin. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. I wish them all the best. They are very kind folks. As was our driver for extra day trips and transfers (Dennis) and our guide for add on trips- Victor. Victor has a deep knowledge of the tribes and local culture. The coffee experience is worth doing- with him. The food was generally good or very good. We only ate food provided by this tour and wound up eating everything- and so far, no health issues at all. (Don't drink the water.) Overall, this is my favorite vacation and I'm an older guy who has traveled a lot. It's in another category. This team was expert and caring and our journey was magical. A few notes: the ballon ride (Miracle Experience) is expensive, but they somehow exceeded expectations with a wonderful, friendly captain, Champaign toast and lovely breakfast out on the Serengeti after. Again, magical. If you can swing it, do it. A few tips: get Schillings for tipping early in the trip. We had a bit of a snafu with our Visa. We paid ahead of time but got no receipt from the Country and they never replied to repeated requests. We had to pay again, partially, even though I showed my credit card receipt as being paid, when we got there. It's $100 each for US citizens and I think $50 for many other countries. To be fair, they only charged us half of what we owed online ahead of time, but I wound up having to pay the difference and then some again, just to get going. Be prepared by taking cash, they don't accept credit cards at the airport and the currency - the bills (US at least) has to be newer than 2000 or they don't accept. One other thing, I believe this tour is run by/affiliated with Zara, which is a competing company and I assume just as good. The staff told us how well they are treated by this company and how the company is very charitable with the folks there- women and education for kids- it made our choice even better. I seldom write reviews but was composing this in my head as went! Enjoy your trip!

Where do I begin! It’s very hard to tell you which day was better and pick a favourite. I will start with the agent at World Adventure Tours Joyce. This lady is amazing and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not having any experience with any of this she was always there to answer questions and despite changing the dates mutiple times when first booking and going above and beyond when we asked about alternative itineraries we were really taken care of. She also took the time during our visit to make sure all was ok and at the end of the trip when we had flight issues she even helped us get home when the flights we booked separately were cancelled. Great great customer service! We enjoyed all of the accommodation and the food including the picnics every day was outstanding. Our guide Molla went out of his way to ensure we saw everything. We were amazed that he was able to see things so far away and he clearly had the best experience and knowledge out of all the companies we saw. Everyone was looking to see what we were doing. Because of Molla we saw 19 lions and 4 babies, 3 leopards, 3 Cheetahs, 5 black Rhinos and a baby, We saw the great migration and always felt safe. We were very close to the animals we saw and Molla made sure we would always get great pictures. We see all of the big 5 and so much more and also learned a lot. He made us feel like we were family and to say he was an excellent guide is just not enough he was remarkable and every day we counted our blessings to have him and his eagle eyes and looked forward to each adventure. The Serengeti Lodge and the Highview Coffee lodge were absolutely wonderful. In Highview they even met us with lovely scented cool cloths and refreshing drink as we came up the drive. The grounds were beautiful and the coffee trees around the property and being able to drink the coffee made on the premises was very special. At the Serenghetti lodge we could hear the lions at night and we felt really safe as we were always taken to our room and knew there was great security there to look after the guests. It was nice to come “home” after an exciting day every day. The sunsets seen from the balcony were breathtaking. This was a trip of a lifetime and we will always remember it and not sure how any trip will ever compare to this one. If you want to be taken care of extremely well and have an unforgettable experience then this is the tour company and vacation package to go on. Highly highly recommend and thank you!

Our Safari was superb and our driver/guide Norah was excellent always getting us into good viewing positions.We saw all the big 5 albeit the black rhino was just a speck in the distance. The highlights were the pride of lions that came right to the car, the cheetahs especially the one stalking an impala then chasing it, the elephants at Tarangire , the giraffes , herds of wildebeest and zebras and also the buffaloes. Unfortunately my wifes’s luggage was delayed/missing- mislaid by the airline. Norah was most helpful in making some time to find some places for essential shopping. We also did the balloon ride over the Serengeti which was a good experience but on that day we were not lucky enough to see much in terms of wild life from the air but nevertheless a wonderful experience. Areas of improvement-The showers at the Springlands Hotel need attention, there was barely a trickle of water. Also the drains at the Highview hotel as there was a lingering smell in the room.

We are an Australian couple travelling to Africa for the first time. From our arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport to our departure the whole safari exceeded our expectation from the food, to the accommodation and transport, the itinerary delivered. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and the highlight, watched a cheetah stalk and attack an impala. But what made the trip so special was the staff, our tour group and most importantly our guide Christian. Christian was the ultimate professional. He was extremely knowledgeable, put us in the best position to see animals, managed each day to maximise our experience, and was engaging and a good communicator. Our tour group included two German ladies and ourselves. Christian was able to foster a great group dynamic which ensured we all enjoyed the shared experience. It is an adventure we will never forget, thank you.

The safari was an unforgettable experience. There were only three of us in the group, and we saw all of the Big Five and the Ugly Five. Our guide, Christian, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. I would definitely recommend the tour and Christian as a guide.

The trip was an absolutely incredible way to celebrate my 60th birthday. On the night we were treated to a cake and birthday wishes from the staff at the Serengeti Lodge. We were fortunate enough to see the Big 5, huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and buffalo. Our highlights were certainly coming across three kills and a super pride of about 35 lions. What we most grateful for was our guide David. From the day he picked us up to the day he dropped us off he was amazing. He respected the environment as well as the vehicle we were traveling in. He was always delightful and engaging and made us feel extremely comfortable and always safe. He went above and beyond to make our experience the best that he could.
