I’m Neapolitan, but I must admit that I didn’t know so many details of the city that I often took for granted. I recommend everyone to live the experience of a guided tour of this level because you will not regret it. Super professional guide!!!
I had always dreamed of seeing Naples, I had very high expectations and I must admit that I was not disappointed. Seeing the city accompanied by the guide was an incredible experience, every corner of the city seemed to tell us about its history. Raffaele led us through four ancient spiced wine recipes derived from archaeology and his own research. We all spiced our wines at home with ingredients he’d suggested in advance. I learned a lot about the history of wine, Rome and chemistry. Great fun for a virtual experience!
This was a fantastic way to experience Naples during the Pandemic. Raffaelle went through the history of blending spices and wine from Grecian and Roman times through the Renaissance, as we followed his instructions and blended two whites and two reds. They were unexpectedly delicious! We felt transported to another continent, another time.
In 2019 when we were still able to travel internationally, I had the wonderful experience to take the historic tour with Raffaele Romero with my traveling companions. It was a wonderful tour with all the mysteries and history from ancient to modern times. Longing to travel again but unable due to Covid, I discovered that Raffaele was also providing current tours during the "lock down." What a pleasure to revisit sites I had seen on the live tour and to relive the magic and mystery of Naples. Highly recommend the virtual tour and, of course, when we can safely travel again, the live tour.
