This is an amazing tour. The food was delicious, with little hidden food gems off the beaten path. Guide was so warm and knowledgeable of the area, food and history. I highly recommend this tour! My 12 year old joined me and loved all the food as well.
Margot was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Took us through former East Berlin and showed sites we would not have otherwise found on our own. Food was outstanding, a diverse offering of local cuisine and variety of establishments. Don't plan a meal after the tour, you'll get plenty to eat. Highly recommend this tour.

When we visit new cities, we love to take food and cultural tours whenever we can. This particular tour led by Alex was everything we hoped such a tour would be. We had several food stops where we got to try local German and Turkish plates, complimented with local beers and various types of Spritz. The tour took place in the “Arty streets of old East Germany”. Alex did a really nice job of explaining our surroundings showing how the food culture had developed over time. We have taken many food tours around the world, and this tour was certainly in our top three. Thank you Alex for an enjoyable tour and sharing with us your obvious pride in the city.
This was an excellent tour. Alex knew so much and gave us a balanced perspective. The blend of food and history was very enjoyable. I loved trying all the popular meals and drinks.
Took a food tour with Alex in Aug of 2026. It was a fantastic tour. The food was enough for a full meal. We stopped at 4 different places to get food. As we wondered though the East Berlin neighborhood with beers Alex told us about both the history of the area and about what was happing in the area today. The tour felt more like hanging out with a really knowledgeable friend rather than just a tour guide. I would definitely recommend if you are in Berlin.

Absolutely amazing food tour in Berlin! Such a great experience from start to finish. We visited some fantastic locations, tasted a wonderful variety of food, and learned so much about Berlin’s culture and history along the way. Our host was excellent … knowledgeable, engaging and made the whole experience really enjoyable. It was everything you could want from a food and cultural tour and a brilliant way to experience a different side of Berlin. Definitely worth doing and one of the highlights of our time in Berlin. We booked the tour directly with Margot. She was very good in communicating with us and assured us good vegetarian options. Alex did the tour. He was very informative and kept the whole group informed and interested in the tour. Did not rush us at all. All the food stops were good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend using them for tours in Berlin.
