ETT MÅSTE GÖRA TURNÉ I ALASKA! En av de högst rankade turerna som erbjuds längs Alaskas vackra inre passage. Ta reda på hur livet är som kommersiell fiskare från män som har arbetat i det karga Berings hav. De här killarna är äkta vara! Ombord på Aleutian Ballad, en båt som var med i Discovery Channels populära TV-program Deadliest Catch, kryssar du genom de lugna, skyddade vattenvägarna i Inside Passage med en Expert besättning, och ser hur marina varelser av alla slag fångas och dras upp på däck. Fångsten hålls sedan i en levande tank för observation innan den släpps ut i naturen igen. Du kommer att se kungskrabba, boxkrabba, bläckfisk, stenfisk, räkor och mer, plus att du kan få syn på andra lokala djurliv som sjölejon och tumlare. Denna tur har också blivit världskänd för ett spektakulärt möte med örnar i det vilda.

- Om ditt fartyg lägger till vid Ward Cove, ta gratisbussen som tillhandahålls av kryssningsrederierna in till centrum som kommer att släppa av dig vid Kajplats 4. Vår båt ligger vid kaj 3, bara en kort 5 minuters promenad därifrån. Vänligen tillåt dig själv 45 minuter att ta bussen och gå till vår båt med några extra minuter till godo. Skyttlarna går var 3:e - 5:e minut in till stan och tillbaka ut till Ward Cove

Great tour! A nice mix of personal stories and crabbing information. It is a crabbing tour but one of the highlights was seeing the eagles swoop in for herring the crew threw out for them.

We were excited for this tour as fans of the Deadliest Catch and boy— it did not even come close to disappointment!! We learned a lot and everyone working on the ship was fantastic and friendly and so much fun. Highly recommend it!!
On a cruise down the coast. Ketichican was our last stop. This was BY FAR the best shore excursion of the trip. Dazzling bald eagle encounter—close up! Crab fishing explained in detail, and demonstrated. Best of all, the entire crew showed unmatched enthusiasm for their work and customer satisfaction. Andy and Dave shared life stories reflecting the difficulty and danger associated with the work. All in all, A+ for education, experience and entertainment.
What a great experience! The stories were incredible, as well as being able to hold some of the little sea creatures!
This is a "do not miss" tour on a real Bering Sea fishing boat - used in Season 2 of "Deadliest Catch". Tour given by real fisherman who are absolutely delightful - they love what they do and it shows! This is an interactive tour - you will handle crabs and other sea creatures (if you want). The eagles are plentiful and plenty of whale sightings as well. There are snacks, drinks and even crab legs available on the boat. The 3 hours fly by. Highly recommend while in Ketchikan!
If you come to Alaska, you have to do this excursion! You won’t be disappointed! They definitely know their craft! You get close and personal with some of the most interesting of gods creations!
These guys were so incredibly welcoming, warm, and funny! Loved hearing their stories of working in the Bering Sea! I really appreciate how brave and determined you have to be in order to make a living out in the water. The convocation (they taught us that’s the proper term) of Bald Eagles was once in a lifetime. Loved the deckhands that made sure we all had an amazing view. A fantastic afternoon!
