Under denna stadsvandring kommer du att fördjupa dig i den historiska atmosfären i det medeltida Bergen och njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över Nordsjön och öarnas land från toppen av stadsberget. Denna privata turné är en kombination av 2 timmars vandringstur med bergbanan och 1 timmes gastronomisk rundtur. Du kommer att njuta av både historien och traditionerna i det norska köket.

Guiden kommer att träffa dig på hotellet eller på något annat lämpligt för klienten. Du kommer att se den medeltida delen av Bergen, inklusive 1300-talet Bergenhus Fortress.
Du passerar till fots 1300-talets kung Håkons hall (landets äldsta stenhus) och Rozenkrantz-tornet.
Du kommer att gå vidare från fästningen i Bergenhus till Hanseatic Office Bryggen, som var inskriven på UNESCOs världsarvslista 1969. Smala passager av kontorsbevarad anda av medeltida handelscentrum etablerad i mitten av 1400-talet.
Med din guide passerar du kända Bergen Fish Market som blev den första officiella grossistmarknaden i Norge för havsmatproduktion.
Genom fotgängare torget Torgalmeningen kommer du till stadsparken med musikpaviljong och festlig torg (utgångspunkten för alla parader i staden). Du kommer att passera genom området med Grieg Hall och City Lake med fontain i mitten.
1 timmes gastronomisk (matprovning) rundtur och 1 timmes promenad en del av din tur kommer att avslutas vid Floibanens nedre station – stadens bergbana. Genom bergbanan kommer du till utsiktsplatsen på toppen av berget Floien. Efter 30 min ledig tid vid utsiktsplatsen kommer du tillbaka till den nedre stationen. Minibuss eller minibuss med förare möter dig vid utgången från bergbanan. Detta är slutet på din turné. Turen kan avslutas efter kundens begäran på annan plats. (Observera att under turisttillströmningstider kan väntetiden vid bergbanan vara längre än 30 minuter).

My wife and I took the local food and funicular tour in Bergen with tour guide Olaf. Our experience was excellent. As I have mobility and balance issues, Olaf was very helpful holding my arm throughout the tour. One tip - in preparation for the lunch at the fish market, I recommend you eat a very light breakfast or skip breakfast all together. The lunch was excellent and very large

Tour was excellent. Our friends have visited Bergen and recommended us food tasting Tour suggested by Vinoltours. Tour program is logical. Firstly walking Tour in Old quarters of the city. The second part return Funicular trip, at the end food tasting program. The main part of food tasting was suggested at the Fish Market. Creamed Norwegian fish soup, pieces of 5 types of local goat cheese, pieces of smoked salmon and salami from game meat and delicious dessert with apple pie. Excellent program and knowledgedebl guide!

We have booked a private tour. We have chosen Vinol Tours agency. My wife prefer tours with food tasting in every new country when we are traveling . One of tours that includes local food tasting was on the list of Vinol Tours. 3 hour tour offers walking tour in the medieval parts of Bergen, return Funicular trip to the top of the city mountain and local food tasting in restaurant. Amazing views of the sea and islands along the shore line stored now in our camera. Food tasting in reality was 3 course lunch (more than we expected): fish soup, different types of smoked salmon, cured meat, and delicious dessert! Full picture of local history plus nice examples of Norwegian kitchen!

We ordered this tour, because of the maximum information that you can get from walking tour in Bergen. Just walking tour without Floibanen trip in Bergen, this is not enough to become familiar with this historical city of Bergen. Old quarters of Bergen gave us enough information to understand why Norwegian kings decided to move their capital from Trondheim at the North to Bergen Fjord area. Great location. Big bonus if this is sunny day and you can enjoy panoramic views of medieval city from the top of Floien that is the most popular mountain in Bergen with the lookout place at the summit. That was good that our guide brought prebooked funicular tickets, We escaped long waiting time with people buying funicular tickets. My recommendation is always to add funicular return trip to your walking or sightseeing tour in Bergen.
