Berättelsen om Tipu Sultan är en uppslukande rundvandring i Bangalore. Denna turné leds av en kulturevangelist som kommer att reda ut mysterier och anmärkningsvärda händelser från Tipu Sultans liv som lämnade en bestående inverkan på södra Indien. Denna rundvandring i Bangalore följer Tipu Sultans fotspår. Vi besöker Summer Palace och Bangalore Fort som påverkade Bangalores historia och geografi och hela regionen. Besöket på den största grossistmarknaden i Bangalore med sina otaliga dofter, färger och ljud kommer att bli en sensorisk extravaganza! Turen arrangeras av ett företag som är godkänt av turistministeriet och medlem i Indan Tour Operators Association. Företaget har åtagit sig att stärka lokala samhällen. Vi börjar gå på Bangalores största grossistmarknad. Gästerna kommer att uppleva en sensuell extravaganza med marknadens myriade luktar, färger och ljud
Vi besöker Bangalore Fort. Byggd 1537 av Kempe Gowda grundaren av Bangalore som ett lerfort, det förstärktes med sten av Tipus far Hyder Ali 1761. Vi kommer att prata om hur fortet spelade en roll i Anglo Mysore-krigen mellan Tipu och de brittiska styrkorna ledd av den legendariske Lord Cornwallis. Observera Fortet är stängt på söndagar och om bokningen är för en söndag kan detta därför inte besökas.
Vi besöker det magnifika Kote Venkataraman-templet. Byggd på 1700-talet följer detta tempel en archietcure-stil som är en fusion av Dravidian och Vijayanagar-elementen. Detta tempel gav inställningen för skattejakt i boken Den sjunde stenens gåta.
Sommarpalatset Tipu är en fascinerande struktur med teakpelare och fresker. Palatset fångar viktiga milstolpar i Tipus liv, inklusive hans tidiga liv, ekonomiska och sociala reformer som han gjort, hans segrar och eventuella nederlag också.

3 hr walk with Vignesh around tippu sultans summer Palace,and the markets. Very informative and enjoyable. Looked after us well in busy streets. Learnt interesting facts from Vignesh highly recommended.

This tour was definitely worthwhile. KR market is a vibrant and bustling place, even more so for me since I took the tour on a Sunday which as I've been told is significantly more crowded than other days. I will admit, it might not be a type of crowd for everyone. I also enjoyed how Vignesh was able to share a glimpse of Tipu Sultan's life in a way that even a foreigner can easily appreciate. My guide's knowledge of the local history was fascinating, and the stops along the way felt designed to build up on the story of Tipu Sultan's life. Overall the tour was great.
Vignesh was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and provided in-depth answers to all of our questions.
This is a great walking tour. You get to see a lot of cool sites in a short amount of time. I was able to fit this in before I went to the airport to fly home.
A great tour suffused with history. The market was wonderful, and I wished I could wander it for hours.
Prashant, the guide, was knowledgeable and very passionate about Hindu mythology and Indian culture and history. I personally found the mythology and culture especially interesting. Pick up and drop off went very smoothly and safely. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We were picked up from metro station of chikpet and we walked to few fantastic monuments of Tipu Sultan who is pupularly known in India as Tiger of Mysore. We visited his Summer Palace which was made of wood and had beautiful mirror work. We alps saw a very well maintained Fort and armoury where Tipu kept his rockets and other ammunition for this wars with Britain. We also saw a serene temple of Lord Vishnu. Our gudie was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended
