Villa Melzi d'Eril, belägen i Bellagio, är en historisk privatbostad som nu används som museum. Hela egendomen, som tillhör familjen Melzi d'Eril, ägs numera av Gallarati Scotti-filialen, har förklarats som ett nationellt monument.
Villa del Balbianello är en historisk residens belägen i Lenno, längs Comosjöns västra strand. Den ligger på spetsen av Lavedohalvön, en anmärkningsvärd udde täckt av vegetation som skjuter ut i Larian-vattnen och som har fått namnet "Balbianello" från denna villa.
Villa Balbiano, en pärla vid Comosjön med anor från slutet av 1500-talet, är en av de mest sofistikerade platserna för exklusiva bröllop. Villan har utsikt över sjön och ståtar med en elegant italiensk trädgård med hisnande utsikt. Interiörerna, rika på konst och tidstypiska möbler, uttrycker all den charm och glamorösa stil som gjorde den känd i tidningar som Harper's Bazaar och Vogue US.
Grand Hotel Tremezzo, byggt mellan 1907 och 1910, är ett ikoniskt hotell i jugendstil vid Comosjöns strand. Det invigdes officiellt den 10 juli 1910 och har sedan starten välkomnat en internationell elitkundkrets och förkroppsligat den förfinade andan från Belle Époque.
Villa Carlotta, en historisk residens vid Comosjön, byggdes på 1600-talet av markisen Giorgio Clerici. Efter att ha blivit egendom för berömda personer som Sommariva och prinsessan Marianna av Preussen, har den fått sitt namn från deras dotter Carlotta. Idag är det ett berömt museum med botaniska trädgårdar och konstverk som berättar historien om århundraden av skönhet och kultur.

We waited in sweltering heat, but the boat did not come. When it did arrive, it could not dock because it has to use the public pier and that was apparently full. A person who was also waiting then called, and we received the message that the boat would be back in 15 minutes. After another 30 minutes, we called again. They wanted to contact the captain and check in. The tour was then canceled via WhatsApp. But only to the person who had also called. We are still waiting, 90 minutes later, for a cancellation. Now it means chasing after one's money. An hour later, we saw the boat dock in Menaggio after all. It was apparently possible after all. A ruined morning. Too bad. This company is not recommended. Their communication is abysmal.
Fine boat trip of about 1.5 hours from Bellagio to Varenna, and from there around part of the lake. Pickup was punctual at the agreed time, with pre-ordered tickets no trouble at all. At the village of Varenna people are still crammed onto the boat, so make sure you have a nice spot. Exactly when we thought we had seen it we headed back to the coast, so was a perfect round for us.

Sooo easy, straight forward booking this boat tour on Lake Como in Bellagio Italy. I ALWAYS USE TRIP ADVISOR !!! It was exactly what we wanting!! EXCELLENT, Thank you I highly recommend this boat tour !!
I booked this tour through GetYourGuide, but the review is directly with the local Bellagio Boat Prescriber, who runs the Service. Unfortunately, the experience was not satisfactory. You can follow an audio guide via a QR code, but in practice the experience was confusing and poorly cared for. No map or clear indication of the stops on the tour is provided: you never really know where you are or which villa you are looking at. This makes it difficult to follow the audio guide consistently and fully enjoy the ride. In addition, the tour did not entirely follow the planned route: after Villa del Balbianello, the boat turned back, skipping other villas indicated in the guide, such as Villa Balbiano. I expected a more fluid and immersive experience.
In living room in Bellagio you have to take a ride on the lake! And this boat is large, comfortable and spacious, with both outdoor (sun!) and Covered berths. There are 2 toilets and the bar (very expensive!!). It is not true that you have to book online, you can do it at the desk by paying by card. The tour should last 90 minutes (70 on weekends) but ours lasted 70 even on Monday... A handy app describes the various villas. Bring your earphones! To be done. Fair price.
We had booked and paid for the trip from Menaggio. We were ready on the boat bridge when the boat arrived. It stood quietly out on the water in front of us for a few minutes. We are called up, and we can not come with because the boat is full (presumably due to overbooking). We could then see the boat sailing on without us. Now we're waiting to get our money back.
Gives you a nice view of your surroundings. We were staying in Bellagio & had limited time for excursions. Weather cancelled our main excursion the day before & booking excursions last minute is difficult in July.
