Få din inträdesbiljett till Förbjudna staden för att utforska denna imponerande sevärdhet under din resa till Peking. Upptäck de hemligheter som har varit dolda sedan Mingdynastin till slutet av Qingdynastin (1420 till 1912). Denna stad byggdes från 1406 till 1420. Staden består av 980 byggnader! Ha så kul när du tittar på ovärderliga Kinesiska artefakter. Gästerna kan släppas av direkt på Donghuamen. Följ stadens vallgrav till fots i cirka 8 minuter tills du når Meridian Gate (Wumen), den enda officiella in- och säkerhetskontrollen för den förbjudna staden. Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohe Dian) är den sista stora salen i den yttre domstolen.
The Gate of Heavenly Purity (Qianqing Men) separerar palatset i den yttre och inre gården. Bakom porten ligger palatsets bostadsområde.
De två kamrarna i öster ändrades till brudrum för kejsaren och kejsarinnan; medan de återstående fyra kamrarna användes som en plats för tillbedjan.
Bakom Hall of Earthly Tranquility ligger Imperial Garden där de kejserliga familjemedlemmarna återskapade sig själva.
Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihe Dian) även kallad "Hall of Golden Throne", är den största hallen i palatset och den största träkonstruktionen i Kina.

Jade was an amazing tour guide. Super nice and knowledgable. With how big the complex is, she was able to show the best highlights with humor and insight. She is also an expert on where to get the best photos to make the most of your experience! I definitely would recommend getting a tour for the palace, and having Jade as your tour guide is a guaranteed win!

Crowded place but VERY fascinating. Huge but you can easily do it in half a day. A must-see!

You really need to find out in advance about the visits to make, because the Forbidden City is immense. There are several galleries, museums, and palaces to visit, each located at a fairly significant walking distance. You must therefore organize your route well in advance, in order to save your energy and patience, especially with the heat and the crowd. It is also important to locate the right subway exit in advance, because you can easily get lost. Once there, finding the right path can quickly become a real obstacle course, or even a marathon, with the long distances to cover and the omnipresent crowd

The tour was exceptionally well organized, from start to finish. Communication prior to the trip was excellent, directions were clear, and we departed on schedule. During the summer, the ticket office is very busy, so it took us almost one hour to enter the Forbidden City. However, this didn’t have a negative impact on the overall experience. The tour covers an impressive amount of ground and highlights all key attractions, including historical buildings, bridges, gates, plazas, artwork, furniture, and gardens. It provided a comprehensive overview of this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site. A special shout out to our guide Jade, who was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and passionate about sharing the history and significance of each location. She took great care of each participant, asked interesting questions to keep all engaged, answered all inquiries with patience and expertise, and made the experience both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing. It was a memorable experience and one of the highlights of te our trip.
