Beatles Walking Tour i London
Beskrivning
Vi börjar vid förmodligen den mest berömda vägkorsningen i världen vid Abbey Road, bara några meter från Abbey Road Studios och besöker hemmet till Sir Paul McCartney som har bott där i över 50 år. En kort resa på röret tar oss till posh och snygga Mayfair och han kommer att besöka olika hem och platser som är viktiga för berättelsen om The Beatles inklusive kontor där många av dem gifte sig, John Lennons fd hem till det enda hemmet där de alla bodde efter ankomsten från Liverpool. Till Piccadilly för att se platsen för deras slutliga offentliga föreställningar innan de vandrade genom det livliga distriktet Soho, som var och fortfarande är känt för sin musik och underhållning för att se var The Beatles fick några av sina minnesvärda kläder, där deras berömda logotyp designades och mycket mer. Kasta in en touch av Rolling Stones, en smadrande av David Bowie, chansen att besöka delar av London utanför de vanliga turistvägarna och allt gör en fantastisk turné.

Det här var familjen Ashers hem. När Paul flyttade in med sin flickvän Jane byggdes källaren om till en inspelningsstudio och det är här många låtar som Yesterday och I Want To Hold Your Hand ligger.
Ringo hyrde ut huset och hyrde ut källaren till John och Yoko. Många berömda händelser ägde rum här, inklusive den berömda drograzzian som såg dem båda arresterade. (5 timmars tur version endast)
Detta hem köptes av Brian Epstein för The Beatles efter deras andra nummer ett hit, She Love You. Det enda huset där alla bodde tillsammans. (5 timmars tur version endast)
Denna gata är mer känd för sin fina skräddarsydd men det var här som The Beatles skapade Apple-etiketten och spelade sin sista uppträdande någonsin tillsammans.
Platsen för Albumomslaget för det berömda David Bowie-albumet ... och några andra sevärdheter också.

Great historical perspective of the evolution of music during this era. To see the various locations of provenance was fun.
Wonderful one on one guided tour, guide was very knowledgeable enjoyed the additional information of other things in the city
If you are into the history of the Beatles and other bands in the 60’s & 70’s, this is the tour to take. Kevin has so much knowledge, not just about bands, but about everything London. It was a pleasure to have taken this tour with Kevin who is so passionate about history. Enjoyed this tour immensely.

I highly recommend this tour especially if Kevin is your tour guide. This gentleman’s passion for history truly shows in the amount of information he shared with me during our tour. I signed up for this tour expecting only Beatles related stuff to be discussed with me but Kevin proved to me that London is truly a city so rich in history. Not only did we discuss the Beatles but we also went over other highly influential figures in British music, political, military and literary history based on the numerous city streets and alleys we walked. In the almost 4 hours I spent with Kevin, there never truly was a dull moment.
