En av La Paz viktigaste och historiska landmärken är San Francisco-kyrkan (Iglesia de San Francisco), även känd som San Francisco-basilikan (Basilica de San Francisco).

Ett samhälle i sig innehåller fängelset affärer och restauranger som drivs av inmates, kvinnor och barn som frivilligt lever med fängslade familjemedlemmar och ironiskt nog några av landets mest trafikerade kokainlaboratorier.
De manicured trädgårdarna statyer, parken bänkar som linje Midway mellan fordonstrafik kommer och kommer från downtown var ganska coolt. El Prado är också omgiven av stora kontorsbyggnader som rymmer många restauranger.
Avenida Camacho: En av de viktigaste och traditionella vägarna i staden La Paz ligger i stadens centrum. Dess rutt börjar vid Obelisk Square och slutar vid den tidigare kommunala zoo, även känd som Monkey Park. Denna aveny namngavs till hyllning till den tidigare presidenten av republiken, Eliodoro Camacho.

Excellent experience with a very professional guide Eloy! I absolutely recommend 👌!
Charlie gets an honourable mention as he was a great guide during the walking tour. We had it bilingual - French and English. He is super knowledgeable about La Paz and as a special treat, I got to try a local fruit : Chirimoya, bought at the market.
Charlie was an incredible guide. He told me a lot about the history of La Paz and the local culture. It was by far the most interesting city tour I have done in all of South America. Highly recommended!

The best walking tour I have ever done! Such interesting information with pictures and video’s shown as examples as well. Charlie explained everything very well and kept our attention the whole time. Visited both iconic places of La Paz as well as local spots I wouldve never found myself. Must do in La Paz!

Honestly was amazing. 10/10 would recommend. I was very lucky and no one had signed up so it was just me and the guide - Charlie. Charlie was unreal, he showed me his favourite empanada place when I said I was hungry and hungover, told me all these amazing stories and history while still keeping it interesting and engaging. Charlie definitely made the tour so ask for him if possible but still the walking tour really explains the amazing history of La Paz that you wouldn’t get if you didn’t search for it.

The guide Charlie led us to several places in the center of La Paz and with his knowledge showed us the history of Bolivia.

You walk almost all the important places of La Paz and its histories but the tour in some parts should be more interactive with the locals.
