Utforska en hemlig Bari med en expert arkeolog bland gömda skatter från den romerska, tidiga kristna och bysantinska eran. Turen börjar vid utgrävningarna av Via Traiana på Piazza del Ferrarese, en kort sträcka av den historiska vägen som byggdes av romarna i början av 200-talet e.Kr., tills den når det arkeologiska museet i Santa Scolastica. Turen fortsätter mot katedralen San Sabino, ett värdefullt exempel på apulisk romansk, som i sina underjordiska miljöer döljer en mycket suggestiv arkeologisk resväg känd som Succorpo. Turen avslutas i den imponerande och högtidliga basilikan San Nicola, symbol för unionen mellan öst och väst, som hyser relikerna från helgonet. A fantastic glimpse into the history of the old town of Bari from a very knowledgeable guide. The museums were so interesting made better by the narrative of an archeological expert. Would be happy to recommend

The archaeological tour was unavailable for the date I booked and as I didn’t have other times available they swapped it for the city walking tour and food tour. Our guide Ana was super friendly and very knowledgeable and informative and the whole experience was great! I felt that I learned a lot about Bari and each of the sites and the food included was delicious, great quality and ample Would definitely recommend!

Viviana gave a wonderful personalized tour. Her personal experience of Bari and her deep connection with the sites we saw were superlative. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and was very happy that I was able to participate in it. It was a deeply moving experience to visit the tomb of St. Nicholas, but also the underground original church of the Cathedral of San Sabino. Very uplifting on a very beautiful day in Bari!!

During our visit to Bari we encountered quite a bit of rain but that didn’t deter our guide Viviana! We opted for the Underground tour of Bari which included the Roman ruins as well as the inside of the most important churches. It was informative and you can tell that Viviana is very passionate about her city and the art and culture within!
