Awesome day made all the better because of our guide. He was great. So full of information and willing to change the order of the tour so we could do the coffee plantation in the morning instead of the afternoon. Highly recommend it to everyone.
Driver was polite and tour was ok. But the mentioned complimentary bottles of water, we have not received: we mentioned we were thirsty, so the driver took us to a supermarket where we had to pay for ourselves for the water. Also when arrived for the lunch buffet, the restaurant was already closed. After some waiting, they eventually did open the restaurant and we could eat from the menu, but suddenly the driver told us that we had to pay for our lunch ourselves because there was no buffet!! After some discussing, he eventually paid for our dishes but still we had to pay for drinks (on the voucher: no alcoholic beverages, but water and soft drinks are in the price????). But the driver apologized at the end for the inconvenience and the different stops were worth the visit, but still wouldn't do it again.
We were picked up by Dewa who was absolutely brilliant for the whole day at our hotel. It was a private tour and the first stop was the sacred monkey forest. This was a beautiful area that was being conserved. The monkeys for the majority kept themselves to themselves however I was unfortunate to have one 5 minutes into the visit climb on my shoulder and pee on me haha! New t shirt required for the day! We then visited the Ubud market which we found the needed t shirt in. The stalls were bursting with colour and you could haggle a price on anything you looked at. There was food (we didn’t risk it as some meat and fish was a bit stinky), clothes, art and all sorts of memorabilia. We were then taken about an hour up to Kintamani mountain to view the volcanoes and have lunch. This was a stunning outlook and we had lucky weather to have a good view whilst tucking in to a tasty buffet lunch. The next stop was the Luwak coffee plantation. The Luwak is a civit like animal that roams wild eating coffee beans and you guessed it pooing them out again to make the cups of coffee. They also let us try all of the tea and different coffee and we bought some to take home. We then stopped off at the rice terraces which were stunning on the way home. Dewa was brilliant and dropped us where we wanted to go and was so felxible with the day. Thank you!
My wife and I had an amazing tour. Great sights and great private lunch. The silver making factory was insightful. Beautiful jewelry and reasonable prices. The coffee plantation was interesting and we got to sample many different coffees and teas. The lunch overlooking the volcano and lake was delicious and the views can’t be beat. The rice patties are a must see and do. I even got to swing over the valley. Guide Dewa was funny and entertaining. He took the time to take a lot of photos of us. He made the waiting in traffic fun. I left my phone with all of my photos in the van and he took the time to drive back to the hotel and drop it off. If you want a nice and entertaining tour in Bali, with a fun and honest guide....take this tour. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Very well set up tour, everything ran smoothly. The monkey temple was fantastic and our guide made sure we go some awesome photos! The view over Mt. Batur during lunch was breathtaking. Would recommend!
