Upptäck Balis kulturella själ på vår populära Ubud Sightseeing-resa, utformad för att ge dig en spännande och minnesvärd semesterupplevelse. Resan börjar med en bekväm upphämtning från ditt hotell / villa, följt av ett besök på Campuhan Ridge Walk, en naturskön led och ett absolut måste när du besöker Ubud. Därefter utforskar vi Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, ser grå makaker i sin naturliga miljö bland tempel och djungel. Vi fortsätter sedan till den ikoniska Tegalalang risterrassen, utforska de berömda och vackra risfälten. En läcker lunch serveras på en restaurang i Ubud. Efteråt fortsätter vi vår tur till Tirta Empul Temple, ett heligt vatten tempel och lär oss om balinesiska reningsritualer. Vår resa tar oss sedan till Goa Gajah Temple, en arkeologisk plats av stor historisk betydelse. Vår slutdestination är det magnifika Tegenungan Waterfall, en vacker oas perfekt för fotografering, omgiven av frodig tropisk grönska.

Gömd bakom hotellen på Ubuds huvudgata hittar du den vackra Campuhan Ridge Walk, ett absolut måste när du besöker staden Ubud. Den ganska korta, men mycket givande, gångvägen tar dig upp och ner för en ås längs risfält och palmer, en perfekt plats för att fly från liv och rörelse från Ubud.
Ubud Monkey Forest upptar 27 grönskande hektar i nedre änden av Jalan Monkey Forest i byn Padangtegal. Hem till över 400 långa tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) som är indelade i 4 grupper som upptar olika delar av parken, det är en viktig kulturell och andlig plats som välkomnar uppåt av 10 000 besökare varje månad. Monkey Forest Sanctuary ägs och drivs faktiskt av byn Padangtegal, med medborgare som tjänstgör på ett styrande råd som syftar till att upprätthålla grundernas integritet och främja det som ett turistmål.
Tegalalang ris terrass som enligt historien, blev överlämnad av en vördad helig man som heter Rsi Markandeya på åttonde århundradet. Tegalalang bildar de tre mest fantastiska terrasserade landskapen i Ubud delade regionen, med de andra i byarna Pejeng och Campuhan. Tegalalang ris terrassen ensam har en utsikt som sprids ner före dig och bort till ris terrasser på backarna över dalen. Placeringen av höga vägar är cool och blåsig och det är en välkänd plats för turister att stanna och ta bilder.
Tirta Empul Temple är ett vackert tempelkomplex och en helig bergskälla som ligger i byn Manukaya i centrala Bali. Webbplatsen fungerar som en legendarisk miljö för en traditionell berättelse om gott mot ont, det är också ett nationellt kulturarv. Komplexet som byggdes 960 e.Kr. är också ett tyst vittne till de gamla balinesiska kungaåren, särskilt vid tiden för Warmadewa-dynastin.
Goa Gajah Temple är en arkeologisk plats av betydande historiskt värde som gör det till en speciell plats att besöka. Beläget på den svala västra kanten av Bedulu Village, sex kilometer från centrala Ubud, behöver du inte mer än en timme för att gå ner till dess relikfyllda innergård och se klippväggsristningarna, en central meditationsgrotta, badpooler och fontäner. Templets namn är något missvisande, vilket ger intrycket att det är en gigantisk bostad full av elefanter.
Tegenungan Waterfall är en av Balis mest populära platser av intresse och vattenfallets skönhet blir inte bara en attraktion för inhemska eller utländska turister, lokalbefolkningen besöker också ofta detta vattenfall. Det är en del av Petanu-floden som rinner längs byn Kemenuh, den når upp till 20m höjd så att du kan känna ljudvibrationerna från det fallande vattnet.

Guide was basically a taxi driver. We learned very little from him. Traffic was terrible. Experience would have been very different with a qualified guide.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with Wayan Balik as our private driver. He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Had a great day with our guide Dwi Occasionally a little rain but that could not spoil the fun. Lots of nice photo spots on the way.

The guide was great, but some of the sights visited were not interesting (Temples) and the lunch menu not consistent or diverse.

This trip hit all the highlights. The waterfall and rice terraces were very Balinese though a bit commercialized. Hari, our driver, was a master at logistics. Our lunch stop near the terraces was one of the restaurants we ate at for ambiance. And he knew the best order of sights to minimize crowds.

Our new friend Ketut showed us around Ubud. We visited the Monkey Forest, Aloha Ubud swing, the teglagan rice terrace, dined at a beautiful restaurant, went to the temple in Ubud. All along the way, Ketut shared with us wonderful history of Bali, as well as his family. I highly recommend booking with Ketut and experience his knowledge of beautiful Bali.

All the sights and experiences were out of this world. Being our first time in Bali this has been such an amazing experience. Additionally our driver Ketut Putra was awesome. I'd recommend him to anyone who doesn't know anything about the island and needs help figuring out what you want to do on your vacation.
