Off-road utflykt i 4x4 fordon, med vilka du kan komma åt stadens högsta punkter och därmed få en fantastisk panoramautsikt över El Calafate och Argentinosjön. Två dagliga avgångar: 10:00 med lunch eller 14:30 med mellanmål Halvdagsutflykt.

Utflykten börjar med upphämtning på hotellen och fortsätter med fordonet till Huyliche Hill, går upp 35 kilometer på backen bakom byn. Därifrån tar 4WD dig upp till 900 meter mot en årtusend geografi och de bästa hörnen av Huylliche Hill. Därifrån kommer du till en spektakulär utsiktspunkt, där du ser staden El Calafate och huvudkroppen av den argentinska sjön, omgiven av den mystiska patagoniska stäppen. Du kan hitta en stor mängd fossiler och om det är en klar dag kan du observera Fit Roy Mount; Dessutom kan du se Andinska kondorer mycket nära dig. Perspektivet därifrån är oförglömligt och du kommer att se Andesområdet, ingången till den argentinska sjöns norra gren och upptäcka ett glaciärlandskap. 4WD fortsätter upp till 1060 meter, var är labyrinten av krita stenar med små fossiler inbäddade i dess väggar.
Sedan åker vi till vår tillflyktsort som ligger på en strategisk plats skyddad från vinden, en typisk bergsflykt där vi erbjuder ett mellanmål eller lunch (beroende på det valda alternativet). Du kommer till El Calafate stad efter tre timmar av en fantastisk geologisk och äventyrsupplevelse.

Great walk. Panoramic view of the city. We saw the vegetation from close. The included lunch was perfect. We did with Patagonia Extreme. The guides Ezekiel and Jeremiah were great.

South Road within the Calafate area seem to supply the best trucks and vehicles. 4WD arrived right on time at my hotel and tour guide was Ruben. English was not perfect but good enough for conversations. He knew the private property and provided a greatv in-depth knowledge of the rock formations and glacial activity. Be warned .. bumpy tracks but that is 4WD driving. Stunning views at the top of the mountain of Calafate and the lakes. Weather was changeable and it did rain for a whole. Then back to the centre for a delicious lunch. I would really recommend this trip to anyone.

This was a really fun experience to see sights that we wouldn't have otherwise been able to access. While I was a little nervous when we first started driving (lots of bumps--it's off roading, of course) the driver was amazing and I felt perfectly safe. Our guide was wonderful, too, and did a good job explaining about the history and geography despite the microphone not working for him. Lunch was delicious and and filling! I would recommend!

I loved this trip in a beast of a 4x4. So informative about the early days of El Calafate too. Views were breathtaking and the ‘snack’ was anything but a snack….. it was a FULL afternoon tea with cakes, beverages and more on the estancia where I got to see horses and a beautiful calf. Thanks to our guide and super professional driver! Highly recommend

Most excursions are full day trips in CALAFATE, but this was the perfect half day excursion. The views were spectacular. And our host was very personable.

Ruben, our guide, made this adventure so enjoyable. He truly loves all his guests. We had a fun trip up the mountain with great views of El Calafate, Lago Argentino, and the snow-covered Andes. Then he made us a tasty lunch before heading back down the mountain to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour.

We take the 4x4 excursion to Balconies of El Calafate, Cerro Huyliche and Concreciones ("Mexican Hats") directly through the Service Provider, the Mil Outdoor Patagonia Enterprise. Good walk of three hours duration, which in our case allowed us to take advantage of the afternoon of the day of arrival (also recommended to take advantage of the morning of the day of departure). Driver Guillermo was a good driver of the vehicle and a friendly guide who not only provided interesting data from this ride but also very useful information for other excursions in the area. In total the group was composed of seven adults and we had a good time. I would not recommend this walk for families with children, I think the creatures may find it somewhat heavy.

Beautiful experience! It was our second visit to El calafate and with this excursion we found it even more beautiful than the first time. The landscapes and views are unforgettable. The driver and guide was excellent, with lots of information about the area, which he spoke about with passion... and transmitted it. We totally recommend to take this walk with All patagonia, you will not regret it.
