Hämtning och avlämning på hotell i Bacalar ingår. Alternativ 1 – Ichkabals ruiner + frukost : (8:30–12:30): Tidig upphämtning och transfer till de imponerande mayaruinerna i Ichkabal (valfri klättring av två 30–40 meter höga pyramider), långt från folkmassorna. Njut av fritiden för att utforska pyramiderna och djungelns omgivningar, följt av en lokal frukost med traditionella smaker, färsk frukt, kaffe och juice. Alternativ 2 – Fullständig upplevelse (Ichkabal + frukost + Los Rápidos + drönarskott): (8:00–16:30): Heldagstur: Efter alternativ ett fortsätter vi till Los Rápidos – en av de mest avkopplande platserna i Bacalar-lagunen. Det är en smal naturlig kanal med en mjuk ström, där du kan simma eller flyta med i klart turkost vatten. Det finns också en restaurang och bar på plats för avkoppling.

Gömd djupt i djungeln är Ichkabal en av de viktigaste och mest mystiska mayastäderna som någonsin upptäckts. Den var en gång ett politiskt och andligt centrum och spelade en nyckelroll i bildandet av den forntida mayacivilisationen. Efter många års forskning och restaurering har Ichkabal nyligen öppnat för allmänheten, vilket erbjuder en unik möjlighet att utforska en helig plats orörd av massturism. Resan börjar vid Ichkabal, där vi vandrar bland gamla tempel och torg omgivna av frodig djungel. Under vandringen är det vanligt att se apor, rävar och färgglada tropiska fåglar som bor i detta område. Mehran was an excellent guide for our Los Rápidos and Ichkabal tour. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience enjoyable from beginning to end. The tour was well organized, the locations were beautiful, and we learned so much along the way. Mehran’s energy and passion really made the day special. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bacalar!
This experience had a bit of everything I hoped for. Out your guide was super friendly, welcoming, responsible, and knowledgeable. The communication prior to the tour was outstanding. I wanted to explore the wilderness and get to the top of a historic site. This tour fulfilled that and more! I wanted to go to Los Rápidos and take cool photos. We did that and more! We left on time and came back on time. One of the highlights was the breakfast in the jungle. Want to feel the wind against your body after climbing a historic site? Do this tour.

I just went on this tour with my dad and it was an amazing experience. Mehran was a great tour guide that had a lot of interesting things to tell especially in ichkabal. The tour was beautiful, walking in a small group inside the jungle to see ichkabal felt almost unreal and cooling off in the water after was great as well. Mehran also took very cool videos and fotos of us in the water which was a very nice ending to the tour. Thank you so much! We had a great time.
Great experience. Had Ichkabal all to ourselves. Guide was knowledgeable and kind. Driver was fantastic. Los Rapidos was fun and the driver stayed with our things at the table while we made multiple runs to float the lazy river. Made for a stress free experience

If you're in Bacalar, the excursion with Mehran to Ichkabal is a must; the experience is magical. Being picked up from your hotel is very convenient, and the guides are charming and very friendly. They know the local customs, so they'll make sure you're well-informed throughout the tour. Mehran and Eli are excellent guides. The drive to Ichkabal is beautiful, as it's deep in the jungle, and you might even have the chance to see a jaguar and other wildlife. The stop with the local family for breakfast is a magical moment; they prepare delicious food and coffee. Plus, their prices are very reasonable compared to other tour companies. Our hosts were friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the site—which has only recently opened. Lunch was delicious and taken in a quiet food spot with a local family and their adorable daughter. Going to the site in the morning allowed us to be some of the first—and only—visitors which always makes a visit extra special, too!

Mehran was punctual with pick up and the whole tour went smoothly. From being one of the only groups to be at the ichkabal ruins in the morning and getting to see the good spots first. Then to a lovely breakfast with a small family in the forest was really good and the food provided was amazing. Then at los Rápidos was an amazing experience and topping it off with his drone shots! Would 100% recommend this tour if you want to get the most out of Bacalar.
