Första platsen i turnén är panoramautsikt över Goreme. Du får information om historia, bildandet av Cappadocia medan du tittar på fekorna. Efter informationen, ledig tid för fotografering.
Efter körning ca 40 minuter, ankomst till Underground City. Den här underjordiska staden användes för första gången av lokalbefolkningen som en naturlig djupfrysning, senare av de sena romarna som skydd mot potentiella arabiska invasioner. Med de tydliga förklaringarna till din guide kommer du att spendera nästan 1 timme här.
Ihlara Canyon är 52 km. bort från underjordiska staden. Omkring 45 minuter senare kommer du att vara i ingången till Ihlara Valley. Ihlara Valley bildades av de vulkaniska handlingarna i Mt. Hasan, bredvid Ihlara-dalen. Därefter eroderade Melendizfloden dalen i miljontals år förutom att lagren knäckte och föll ner. Så småningom var 80 meter djup canyon komponerad. Hela dalen är 14 km. längd. Tidigare bodde generellt kristna i de olika delarna av dalen; De skurade också kyrkor och målade dem. Du kommer att vandra ca 3,5 km. Vandring kommer att vara 1 timme 15 m. Sedan kommer du fram till Restaurang för lunch
1 timme för lunch i Ihlara stad. Du börjar med soppa och sallad, senare kan du välja en av huvudrätterna från listan. Lunchen är över med säsongens frukter.
Vår turné fortsätter med en annan film-set-liknande plats, Selime Monastery. Vid första blicken ser klostret ut som ett slott, men hus, kyrkor, kapell, sovrum, förråd och stor katedral visar oss att det är ett kloster. Du får information om klosterlivet i Kappadokien.
Klättring till Selime kloster kommer att uttömma dig, förmodligen. Men tills du kommer till Pigeon Valley, kommer du att ha ca 1 timme att vila. Vår guide kommer också att nämna några traditioner, kulturer och berättelser om Anatolien på vägen. Vid ankomsten till Pigeon Valley kommer duvor att träffa dig på toppen av dalen. Duvor har alltid varit viktiga för kappadokiska folket. Deras ägg och droppings användes för olika ändamål. Därför skurde lokalbefolkningen hus för dem till dalarnas sluttningar. Du kommer att se anledningen till att folk kallar dem "hus", när du ser dem.

AMAZING! Do it!! I did the green tour with my wife on our honeymoon. We booked our Cappadocia trip for the hot air balloons, but this tour honesty is worth coming for alone! We were guided by Merve (marvellous) and our group had around 7 people. The Derinkuyu underground caves were one of the most fascinating places I’ve ever been- with the Selime Monastery an incredibly spiritual place. Also fantastic lunch! Merve was so knowledgeable and educational, and an awesome, fun energy throughout the day. Very grateful and will remember this tour forever!
Wonderful!! This brought our Cappadocia honeymoon to the next level. Merve (marvellous) was so passionate, kind, warm, funny and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and provided in depth insight into the culture, religion and history of Cappadocia. During the underground city tour she facilitated the flow of traffic and organisation within the caves. She infused our experience with many laughs and she went above and beyond with her hospitality. The tour took us to an onyx shop and a Turkish delight shop, both were not listed on the description. Our tour guides explaination was dry and difficult to understand. She also rushed us throughout all the sightseeing spots.
Selena was a great and accommodating guide who gave timely information. Suleiman was a smooth driver who made sure that our A/C is perfect for the weather. The coach was clean and wide! This was a relaxing and informative tour! I’d have skipped the stone/gem and fruit-nut shops though I understand that this helps promote local businesses. It would be nice to warn others to bring flip flops and small towels if they want to dip their feet in the stream at the end of the walk.

Loved how they were able to pick up and drop you back from your accommodation! This green tour took us to some great natural locations such as the Selime monastery, Ihlara valley and pigeon valley. Walking the Ihlara valley was nice. The only two things to note is that the stone spot was a shop to buy jewellery and bring water when it is hot.

Sedat was a really engaging guide and tried to talk to every one, while navigating some really crowded areas. The tour is really good value, you get entrances as well as skip the line and lunch was really nice (though there were a few wasps so beware if you're allergic like me). Remember to pack your own water as there will be stops but if you have no water there is nowhere to buy prior to that. If anything I would have liked more time to walk around Selime but I appreciate that mauly make the tour longer.
Stoneland organized our green tour and ballooning with Butterfly Balloons. Their communication was very good and both experiences were very professional and well organized. The green tour does require a fair amount of hiking and going up and down stairs and narrow passages in the underground city which was well worth it. The history and experience was amazing. Lunch was well organized, professional and tasty. The tour was about 10 hours with a reasonable amount of driving (2.5 hours? which was a good time to rest and learn about the next stop)- the driver was very safe
