Har du någonsin drömt om att vandra genom ett vinterlandskap? Vill du uppleva den vackraste utsikten över Norges huvudstad? Följ med på en vintervandring genom den snöiga skogen högt över fjorden - med spikar på skorna!

Vår resa börjar vid vårt resecentrum i centrala Oslo. Därifrån går vi ombord på tunnelbanan och njuter av en naturskön tågresa genom det fantastiska vinterlandskapet. När vi lämnar staden bakom oss kommer utsikten över fjorden att vecklas ut framför dig, vilket lägger grunden för en dag av upptäcktsfärder. När du kommer till Frognerseteren-stationen möts du av frisk luft och fantastisk panoramautsikt. Härifrån slingrar sig vår vandring genom vinterskogen och förbi små frusna dammar som sägs vara bebodda av den mystiska varelsen Huldra.
Vårt första stopp är en charmig Norska stuga som heter DNT Fuglemyrhytta - en liten stuga som erbjuder en mysig plats att koppla av, kanske ta ett mellanmål, och njuta av utsikten.
Vårt äventyr fortsätter genom den snötyngda skogen till den mest spektakulära platsen på vår resa – toppen av fjället Vettakollen. Härifrån kan du njuta av stora delar av Oslo, Oslofjorden och dess fridfulla kustlinje, prickad med många små öar. Här njuter vi av en paus i naturens hjärta, och en stund av nordisk "hygge", vilket betyder en lugn stund som delas med gott sällskap. Oroa dig inte, vi har gott om tid för fotografier!
Efter att ha njutit av utsikten promenerar vi ner till tunnelbanestationen och avslutar vår resa tillbaka i centrala Oslo. Oavsett om du är en erfaren vandrare eller en naturentusiast som vill uppleva Oslos skönhet är Vettakollenvandringen till toppen av Oslo ett måste.

This is a really great experience! Tommy and Miles were super friendly and knowledgeable. The forest is beautiful and quiet, with a wonderful view at the end of the hike. Even with a bit of cloud cover it was amazing to see the Fjord and the city. Would highly recommend ☺️
The hike is very fun, the track is good for beginners where it still has it's challenges, but not too much. Also thank you for our guides, they are so caring and really helpful!
For that money end up in an excursion with 30 people. Is not commensurate with what is delivered. That's a shame, because the walk, the forest and the views are beautiful!

The experience started well with our lovely guide who seemed knowledgable and informative, however unfortunately although I took the Metro to the start of the trip it soon became apparent that I was unable to take part in the experience due to sheer ice on a steep slope to start with. Even though we were given spikes and I was given sticks, I found it extremely difficult as I suffer from Arthritis. I feel the need to share this for anyone with any concerns to read, as even though I did research the level of difficulty before buying I don’t believe it is made clear and is not suitable for anyone up to the age of 95 as advertised unless extremely fit!
Good morning. We are sorry that your experience was like this. We have very poor conditions these days with a lot of ice on the ground. This creates very demanding conditions. Normally everyone with satisfactory health can manage our tours, but of course there can be conditions that we have not thought through. Every year we take several thousand guests out on tours. We will read through all our tour descriptions carefully and consider whether they should be changed in any way, thanks to your honest feedback.
Excellent experience with Miles who was both friendly and knowledgeable. The route was lovely with fantastic views. Miles answered all our questions and even gave us suggestions on what else we could do for the rest of our holidays.

Very nice hiking experience through a nice winter landscape and with great views over Oslo with a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! The spikes provided by the guide were easy to put on and made walking on ice and snow feel easy and safe. Speed and terrain are suitable for beginners or families with children, too. Food and drinks provided by Oslo hiking were delicious, too!

We really enjoyed the 4 hour winter walk tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, helping us to better understand local culture while exploring the amazing nature just outside of Oslo City Centre. My only recommendation would be to offer this tour with varying levels of difficulty, as we would have liked a bit more strenuous hike, but didn't have the knowledge to go ourselves.

Well organised tour,very knowledgeable guides we had 2. Beautiful walk through national park and hike up to Vetekollen. Snow spikes provided were great and views from the top are stunning.
