Our guide in Ngorongoro and the crater itself was great. The guys we booked with wanted to change our pickup time to 3am after confirming 5am as they had another tour they wanted us to meet up with who spent the night at the crater. They also came to our hotel the night before our safari to collect the park fees which needed to be in cash ($80 per person). We agreed to 4am pickup and then at the park gate were delayed an hour as the office there couldn’t validate our permit purchase. The driver (who is different from the guide) didn’t really explain and said there were network issues but everyone else was getting their permit. My guess is because ours was purchased only a few hours before, it wasn’t showing. The driver hit a pot hole so hard on the way that I thought for sure he broke something on his car. I’d suggest doing a private tour to avoid any issues with changing the time to accommodate another group and make sure you have enough cash for park fees since it was an unexpected expense for us.

Our 1-day Safari to Ngorongoro crater Tanzania safari with Kilinge Adventure was really amazing. From the beginning of the trip, everything was smooth and well organized. Our guide was very friendly and made the journey fun and enjoyable. We saw many animals like lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and buffaloes very close. The views inside the crater were so beautiful and peaceful. It was one of the best experiences I have had in Tanzania. We have been with this tour company to Kilimanjaro after finishing it we did Ngorongoro crater one day the experience took long time but it was best experience ever recommend this tour for everyone

Excellent tour with a great driver! Beautiful scenery, views, saw lots of animals including a black rhino. 4-6 hours is enough to see the entire crater. Despite not arriving for sunrise, you can see all the animals during the day as there's no where for them to hide in the crater! :) Great lunch in the nature by a pond full of hippos! Highly recommend this day trip!

We had very nice guides who picked us up at our hotel. On the tour, they talked a lot about Mount Kilimanjaro and the people who live there. We were seven people and accompanied by free guides so you could always ask good questions, these were answered quickly. Once at the top we ate our delicious packed lunch and then went on to the crater. For the descent we took a shortcut which was also a little easier, I was very happy about that. But the tour is very good to do even without hiking experience. Was really a lot of fun!
