The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour of temples and the Royal Palace in Bangkok. She provided us a lot of information about the history of the royal family in Thailand.
What an incredible City! Tour was very professional. We were collected from cruise terminal in a large, comfortable high quality Toyota vehicle with aircon. Weather was 33 degrees and you have to cover up to access temples. Plenty of water was provided. Our guide Anna was very nice, knowledgeable and her English was ok. The driver was very good. We felt safe on the 1.5 hour journey to Bangkok. It was a 2 hour return journey due to traffic. Our tour around the city was comprehensive - around 5 hours. Long tail boat tour around river/ canals provided another perspective. Pad Thai street food in central cafe was great. We saw so much and were not slowed down by being part of a larger coach tour. Highly recommended.
Riding in a long tail boat on the Chao Phraya is a very relaxing event. You combine tours of temples with a nice mode of travel
The sites were interesting although the flower market was marginal. The guide Liu was very pleasant but her accent meant we had great difficulty understanding anything in English. As a result we left feeling disappointed. Pre-trip confirmation was nonexistent and pickup seemed uncertain since we didn’t receive a confirmation from the local operator. Overall we would encourage using a different tour company and booking service.
19/02/24 We toured the Temple of the Sleeping or Reclining Buddha, The Grand Palace with the Emerald Buddha & Temple of the Golden Buddha. We took the long boat ride in the canals. I loved the boat ride. It provided a perspective that isn't available from the street level. They included time & food, to feed the fish. Our driver was very good & Tour guide, Cat, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable of the history of Thailand & the best places to take us. Her English was Excellent. She was very patient, kind & helpful. Our utmost safety was important to them at all times. They provided us with plenty of water as well as snacks. She made sure that we visited the best souvenir shops with the best prices too. This was an all day tour. She provided an umbrella for shade from the very hot sun. We were never rushed. We had as much time as was needed & bathroom breaks to keep us comfortable. She took our pictures at these main attractions. I would recommend her to family & friends. This was an excellent tour. We couldn't be happier.
This Bangkok tour, led by Miss Kay, was the best we've ever experienced in our global travels! She showcased all the major attractions, offered unique experiences like refreshments, flower offerings for Buddha, and street food. Miss Kay's attention to detail, knowledge, and kindness made her feel like part of our family. She also captured our memories by taking photos throughout the tour. Highly recommended as a standout option in a city filled with choices, with Miss Kay being an exceptional guide. ""ขอบคุณมาก"" for an unforgettable experience!
This personal tour of Bangkok's highlights with Miss Kay sounds truly outstanding. Her expertise and warm personality evidently made her one of the best guides you've ever encountered, and it's heartwarming to hear how she quickly became like a member of your family. The tour's inclusivity of diverse experiences and sites, paired with Kay's deep knowledge of both historical and contemporary matters, seems to have greatly enhanced your understanding and enjoyment of Bangkok. The fact that you were fortunate enough to have Kay as your guide for another full day tour the next day speaks volumes about her exceptional guiding skills. Your strong recommendation for both the tour and specifically for Miss Kay as a guide is a testament to her capabilities and the overall quality of the experience. Additionally, the professionalism and safety provided by the driver added a layer of comfort and assurance, making you and your wife feel secure and well-cared for, regardless of the traffic conditions or distances involved. This combination of a skilled guide and a first-class driver appears to have made your tour both enjoyable and memorable.
For anyone looking to explore amazing temples effortlessly, this tour comes highly recommended. Our guide, Ponchai, was exceptional, providing rich historical context and readily answering all our queries while allowing us the freedom to explore. The transportation was seamless, with a private driver ensuring smooth rides between stops, complemented by short walks. This tour offered a comprehensive view of the city, blending sightseeing with educational insights. With just one day in Bangkok, this tour was a perfect choice, making the visit to historical sites both easy and enjoyable. It's an ideal way to experience the city's rich cultural heritage in a relaxed and informative manner.
