We sign up for the 2 hour free tour of Cordoba. Our guide, Pilu, went through the streets of Cordoba, stopping mainly at some statues, in which he explained who the character was and some anecdotes. If not, the visit of this free tour could be interesting as a first contact with the city.
Nos apuntamos al free tour de 2 horas por Córdoba. Nuestra guia, Pilu, fue recorriendo las calles de Córdoba, deteniéndose principalmente en algunas estatuas, en las que explicaba quién era el personaje y algunas anécdotas. Y hasta ahí todo bien, pero iba pasando por muchos edificios importantes y ni siquiera hacía alusión alguna a su nombre, solo seguía caminando hasta la siguiente escultura. Además, tuvo un par ademanes un poco bruscos con un grupo que llegó un poco más tarde, por interrumpirla, los cuales abandonaron la visita antes de la primera parada. La visita decia en la página web que duraba 2 horas y ella la terminó en hora y medía. Creo que su actitud, así como el contenido de sus explicaciones, es bastante mejorable. Porque de no ser así, la visita de este free tour podría ser interesante como primera toma de contacto con la ciudad.

Overall, it was a good tour. And our guide ("Juan") was very informative. Which was a big plus. However, something was extremely disappointing. The Alhambra has been closed for Renovations. Knowing this, why did you continue to advertise it as part of the 3-hour tour??

This was not as advertised. The guide gave a good tour of Mezquita. The Alcazar was shut. We did not go to synagogue even tho these were included in price. The guide told us virtually nothing about Jews in Cordoba. Even when we stood outside Jewish museum and he used big map outside with list of significant Jewish sites and characters, he said nothing, not even that we were outside the museum. The tour advertised dufferently. He had little knowledge or interest maybe...? He talked a lot about banalities and little of history about anything

Our guide Michelangelo is unbeatable. He explained every detail of every site, plus some curious facts, which made the experience more immersive. They are certainly a good excursion.
