Vår matresa börjar i hjärtat av Neapel på Piazza Dante, där vi snart lättar in i en klassisk Aperitivo, precis som lokalbefolkningen gör. Därifrån dyker vi in i den pulserande energin på Via dei Tribunali, den livliga pulsådern i Neapels historiska centrum. Först en krispig liten tugga – en sann napolitansk tradition – för att reta aptiten. Därefter får vi upptäcka pizzans rika historia i själva staden där den föddes och smaka på ett autentiskt mästerverk. Ett urval av lokala charkuterier tillsammans med ett glas vin kommer att ge oss den perfekta pausen innan du hänger dig åt vår hemliga maträtt. Sedan är det dags att uppleva hjärtat av napolitansk husmanskost med en smak av den älskade söndagssåsen som definierar familjemåltider i Neapel. Ingen napolitansk måltid är komplett utan kaffe! Du smuttar på en äkta espresso, på det napolitanska sättet – oroa dig inte, vi visar dig hur du gör det på rätt sätt. Och slutligen avslutar vi med en söt ton, för ingen matresa genom Neapel är komplett utan lite dessert!

En av de största napolitanska torgen, här möts vi och samlas, precis framför Dantes staty och börjar vår turné, på väg till vår första plats.
Vi kommer att upptäcka historien om denna antika dörr och gå in i Decumani-området i Neapel och gå till vårt andra stopp också.
Vi kommer att njuta av vår aperitivo medan vi lär oss om Neapels historia och dess gamla stadsdel.
Vi kommer att gå runt en av de längsta gatorna i Neapel, mestadels känd för pizza: här gör vi ännu ett utsökt stopp medan vi dyker in i den lokala kulturen.
Ett torg i Neapel beläget i ett nästan centralt läge i huvuddecumanen.
Vi kommer att lära oss vad som är så speciellt med den här gatan och varför lokalbefolkningen fortfarande älskar den så mycket.
En gotisk, romersk-katolsk kyrka och kloster, grundad av bröderna i Dominikanerorden, och belägen på torget med samma namn i Neapels historiska centrum.
Den raka och smala huvudgatan som korsar den gamla, historiska stadskärnan i staden Neapel, Italien. Spaccanapoli är huvudpromenaden för turister eftersom den ger tillgång till ett antal viktiga sevärdheter i staden och här tar vi två stopp till!
Detta är den största shoppinggatan från Neapel: ingen promenad runt den här staden skulle göra det vara komplett utan att se den och, naturligtvis, utan att ha vårt sista läckra stopp som leder oss väldigt nära där vi började turnén.

Excellent! We did the food tour straight from the airport before traveling to our destination. Great way to see some of Naples, learn some of the history & experience the local foods. Noemi was fantastic & was able to accommodate nut free & gluten free options for our group of 7.

My wife and I did this tour with Anna as our guide, and it was such a great experience. My wife had previously done a similar tour with this company in another location and loved how it combined learning about the community with trying local food. This tour definitely lived up to that experience. Exploring Naples through the eyes of a local was so much fun. We tried foods we probably would have walked right past if we were exploring on our own, and of course we had to stop at a locally owned pizza place where we sampled two traditional Neapolitan pizzas. It was a fantastic way to experience Naples, especially when you only have a limited amount of time. We would absolutely book another tour with this company and highly recommend Anna if you're visiting Naples.

Had an excellent authentic food tour of naples with Rebecca, who showed us the best local places to eat and drink. We enjoyed it so much we went back to some of the places shown the next day! We would definitely recommend this tour, especially with so much choice available and so many "tourist traps" on every alleyway. Do the tour early in your trip so you have lots of places to go back to later!

Top tip make sure you are hungry! You will be treated to the best and most delicious Neapolitan food ! Our introduction to Naples and its fabulous local food was fantastic. This was a fun tour and tasty! Rebecca clearly explained the menu and order in which the Italians eat. She brought us to many cafes and restaurants that had delicious food. Her information was very informative and included some history lessons as well. If you want a look into the soul of Italy I recommend Naples and this authentic tasting tour.

We had a great afternoon w/ Rebecca eating way too much food in Naples. I really loved how she interacted with our teens and how informed and enthusiastic she was about Napoli food. She also changed the tour to include Gelato when I asked for a referral to a good place, this was above and beyond that she changed the tour for us. BTW the food is great - especially the pizza and the antipasti =)
