Autentiska Singapore Street Food Tour

We had a great tour with William and appreciated him accommodating our group of 8 which included elderly and young children (including a baby). William provided more than just a food tour, giving us an overview of the history of Singapore and its people. The background and context setting allowed us to better appreciate the delicious, local food - helping us understand how the diverse population contributed to create flavors unique to the region. He also brought us to the Singapore Gallery and provided us pointers on how to orient ourselves around Central Singapore and the MRT. William really tailored the experience to accommodate our big group and various mobility needs, even helping us with the stroller and providing water to ensure family members stayed hydrated. We had a memorable time (even my 6 year old said he enjoyed it) and would highly recommend the tour (and William) to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Loy. Loy is very passionate about Singapore and shared many interesting facts and stories. We tried absolutely delicious dishes from Chinatown Hawkers Market!

The experience with William was one of a kind. He took us to a lovely local neighbourhood to try the cuisine in an intimate setting, starting with the smaller Kopi House to try some authentic kopi, carrot cake and roti. We then walked to the Hawker Market to try a multitude of delicious dishes. My personal favourites were the chicken rice, rajak and the chendol dessert (shaved ice)! William was wonderfully accommodating to our dietary restrictions (veggie) and did the best he could with the options he had! I definitely recommend this unique experience!

Great tour with William. We got to experience a range of local food across Malay, Chinese and Indian traditional favourites in a great environment at Whampoa, surrounded by local families eating out. William added to the food experience, telling us tales of Singaporean history as well as contemporary life in this city. He made us feel very welcome and it was a fabulous way to get oriented for future ventures to hawker centres whilst in Singapore.

Our guide Cathy Tan gave us a great tour of Chinatown and a first experience of the various foods on offer at the Hawkers market. We came away with a good understanding of the history of Singapore, the people, and the plan of where the city is going. Our guide Cathay was very passionate about Singapore and she was very generous with her time.

Kristine was an outstanding guide for my Singapore Hawker food tour. She has a wonderful personality and pairs her vibrant enthusiasm with her expertise. The food scene in Singapore is incredible. Kristine curated an amazing lineup, getting dishes from the absolute best stalls. I tried many delicious items I never would have discovered on my own. She is so knowledgeable about the history, ingredients, and preparation of the cuisine that I thought she must be a professional chef! Beyond the food, Kristine is highly intelligent and worldly. She educated me on Singapore’s history, healthcare system, education system, and some of the fascinating workings of its well-organized government. Touring with her gave me a much better understanding of Singaporean life. The pacing and length of the tour were perfect. Between the generous amount of high-quality food and Kristine's top-tier guiding service, the tour fee was an absolute bargain.I highly recommend booking with Kristine if you want a premium, educational, and delicious experience in Singapore!

This is a wonderful tour to do when first arriving to Singapore! Our guide, PC Kong, was so kind, knowledgeable, and not only shared the best local foods with us, but also the diverse culture of Singapore! We had a fantastic evening and would recommend to anyone.
