Ny tur skapad av itseoulgood. Jag har kört turnéer i 8 år. Det här ska bli en rolig tur i min favoritdel av Seoul. Du får uppleva lite av kulturen, historien, maten och människorna. Vi börjar på en av de äldsta och största matmarknaderna i Seoul sedan fortsätter vi genom några små gömda gränder och ställen. Du kommer att få se lite av det gamla och det nya. Vi kommer att smaka massor av unika föremål på hela marknaden och i olika stadsdelar. Promenera genom ett moderniserat, kulturellt område gömt i bakgatorna. Ta en promenad genom det historiska området Insadong, där det finns massor att se och shoppa. Vi avslutar i ett av de mest traditionella gömda tehusen i ett traditionellt område. Jag kommer att hjälpa till att svara på eventuella frågor och ge rekommendationer också! Andra saker att notera: All mat kommer att ingå i reseavgiften. Ta med extra kontanter om du vill köpa ytterligare föremål.

Mike was so knowledgable about all things food. A former chef he helped us navigate the Seoul food scene avoiding the gimmicks and focusing on high quality gems with high quality ingredients. He gave us a bright history of Seoul and even helped us secure tickets for a Korean baseball game that evening. Great tour to get you out of bed and exploring the city

Mike, a chef and sommelier, was very knowledgeable about Korean food and showed us places that were original out of the way places that tourists do not usually go to. Exceptional food tasting tour! Dessert and tea house was amazing also!

Consistently fantastic! Mike speaks English even better than you do, and at one point, he was a chef, so he knows what he’s talking about! I have done tours with him twice now, so I can vouch for consistency. The trips are typically around 5 hours or so, but you go to a new place every hour or so. The great thing is that Mike can tell you all about the food in detail, often the history of the cuisine, and he’s fun to hang out with. Mike also gave us good tips for stuff to do around Seoul and we basically had a good time at all of his recommended places (recommend Miners bar in Itaewon for a classy, unique vibe with great cocktail options). Mike’s food tour in Seoul was fantastic, so much fun and every stop was delicious. He shared great stories that made it feel like a local friend showing us around. We even did a rice wine tasting, and he took us to hidden spots we’d never find on our own. The route was well planned and never rushed. Truly one of the best tours I’ve ever done- highly recommended!
The market can be overwhelming for new visitors so it was great to have Mike’s guidance as to the best places to try the various Korean specialities. We sampled many delicious treats as Mike explained them in detail and the history of the market. The tour continued to Iksaedong and Insadong with heaps of interesting information and recommendations on where to eat/drink. Mike took the time to find out what foods we wanted to try and our general interests and was helpful in making recommendations and answering all our questions. We also stopped at a lovely traditional tea house. We learnt a lot from Mike and highly recommend this tour.

Mike is the real deal. It was a joy to explore Seoul through his experienced and well-researched taste buds. Every dish on the tour, was the best version of that dish I had ever tasted. And if it was a dish I'd never tried before, it was delicious and fun to taste. It's clear Mike loves and knows Seoul's food scene. Mike even tailored parts of the tour to our group's favourite foods, which was very kind of him.
