An amazing adventure. Muhammed and his team were brilliant, looked after us well, and were available whenever we needed them. Our guides were warm and humble, and went above and beyond the itinerary to show us the best our two day adventure could offer. Accommodation was excellent too. Highly recommended.

Everything about the trip was first class. Couldn't recommend highly enough. I will be using again in the future and definitely coming back to Marrakech and Mount Toubkle. 👊🏻🙏👍🏼

Active Treks Morocco were amazing, we went on the 2 day trek up Mount Toubkal. Mohamed arranged everything. The driver picking us up from the airport told us about the areas we passed and even stopped to let us get cash from the ATM, before arriving at our accommodation in Imlil. This was one of the best places I have stayed, the views from the balcony were stunning and the home we stayed at we're so attentive, home cooked Moroccan cuisine made the experience all the more authentic, thank you Said, Maleka and little Hannah. Our guide Brahim was very friendly and informative, he made us feel very comfortable and went over and above his responsibilities, even going as far as to sub us for the 2 days hike as my partner left our cash in the room. On summiting Mount Toubkal the views were simply brethtaking, an almost spiritual experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to hike in the high Atlas mountains.

Fantastic experience climbing to the top of Mount Toubcal (family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters). Mohamed was so helpful and responsive before the climb and Omar, our guide was just brilliant. Really knowledgable and friendly and knew how to support and encourage us all. Our younger daughter got the slight wobbles above the snow line in the wind and Omar was brilliant at reassuring her and we were all really chuffed to have got to the top.

As a family of 6 (with 4 teenage daughters) we all agreed that we would remember our amazing two day trek with Active Trek for the rest of our lives. We were looked after beautifully from start to finish, were able to immerse ourselves in Berber culture and the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains and achieve a five-year old goal of climbing Mt Toubkal. Booking and arranging our trip was seamless with Mohammed's help, we had the most fantastic mountain guide called Omar (who ran back down the mountain to the refuge at 4am when the sole of my husband's boot fell), we were treated to the most delicious food and tagines by Chef Mohammed who rustled up culinary delights from ingredients carried up the mountain by the mules and adored walking with Hassan and his beautiful mules. The local people are charming, the route is well walked so not too difficult and stopping at the local 'shops' serving freshly squeezed orange juice and mint tea is a must. The refuge is very basic and we would recommend booking a private room if you want to get some sleep before waking at 3am to ascend Toubkal for sun rise. A great experience all round made all the better by a stay at Kasbah Tamadot on our way back down.

Myself and 6 friends had a wonderful time in the mountains with Mohamed and crew. Scenery and hiking was beautiful, highlight was having a delicious lunch in the sun on the top of Tizi Mzik pass. Many thanks guys!
