Avresa från Marrakech på morgonen runt 09:00 och kör i 1 timme till Moulay Brahim Gorges. Anländ till ett huvudled med bäckar och stigar som grenar ut i alla riktningar och upplev det dramatiska landskapet på en kameltur. Fortsätt in i Imlildalen och passera många berberbyar längs vägen. Lämna fordonet vid Imlil för att bege dig in i byn, där du kommer att välkomnas med ett glas myntte. Fortsätt din vandring i 1:30 timmar, vandring upp till Armed, den högsta byn i Imlil-dalen. Vandra till berberbyn Ait Souka och passera byarna Ait Mizan på vägen. Stanna på vägen vid Tamatert och njut av den härliga utsikten över uråldriga bevattnade terrasserade fält med korn, majs och grönsaker omgivna av körsbärs- och valnötsträd. Fortsätt i ytterligare 30 minuter för att komma till en berberfamiljs hem i Ait Souka, där du kan njuta av Din lunch. Gå tillbaka ner på andra sidan av dalen och fortsätt till Marrakech för din avresa i slutet av turnétjänsterna.

Jag kommer att vara på Argana Cafe i Mean Square för att börja din upplevelse till Imlil. På vår väg kommer du att passera genom staden Tahnaout där vi kan stanna vid ett Argan Oil Co-operative och bara för att lära dig hur kvinnan i kooperativet förvandlar Argan-nöten till många av de olika Argan Oil-baserade produkterna som Marocko är känd för. Vi fortsätter sedan genom Asni där, på lördagar eller tisdagar, en traditionell Berber Souk och marknad kan besökas.
Vår resa tar oss förbi vattenfall och byarna Ait Mizan, vi stannar till i Imlil och har möjlighet att njuta av utsikten över antika bevattnade terrassfält med korn, majs och grönsaker, omgivna av körsbärs- och valnötsträd. Jag kommer att peka ut saker av intresse och jag kommer att prata med dig om berberkulturen och arvet längs vägen. Res ner genom byn Ait Souka och njut av en traditionell marockansk måltid i ett berberhus. Här får du möjlighet att rida på en kamel på vår väg tillbaka via Moulay Gorges! Fantastic day trip, Omar was so knowledgeable, kind, and open to additional questions.
We had an unforgettable experience exploring the Atlas Mountains, thanks to our wonderful guide, Hassan, and our excellent driver, Said. From start to finish, the entire tour was smooth, informative, and full of authentic moments. Hassan was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing local history, culture, and traditions in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. He made every stop meaningful and never rushed us, allowing us to truly appreciate the landscapes and the people we met along the way. His warmth and genuine passion for the region made the journey feel personal and special. Our driver, Said, was equally impressive—skilled, patient, and always ensuring we felt safe and comfortable on the winding mountain roads. His calm and friendly presence added so much to the experience. Thanks to Hassan and Said, our day in the Atlas Mountains became one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable adventure.
This excursion was absolutely amazing, a perfect mix of stunning nature and authentic cultural discovery. Our guide, Nezha, was fantastic: knowledgeable, kind, and so attentive to everyone in the group. I learned so much about local traditions, especially Berber culture, while enjoying the beautiful landscapes. A big thank you to Hassan, the tour operator, for his exceptional support before and during the trip. He made everything easy and smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakech who wants something truly special!
Amazing day out for such a good price. We were collected and taken for a 15 min camel ride dressed in berber outfits. Hassam was all the time giving us great information and the history of places and traditions. He also spent ages using our cameras to take great pictures and videos of us together which you normally dont get . We then went to the ladies argan oil place . We hiked up the mountain which for us was fine as we are generaly fit but some could find it tough. ( i only had sandles which were fine but recomend trainers as some really steep bits which loose stones) He however waited and helped anyone struggling. We learnt so much and saw amazing views. We went to the small waterfalls ( i thought it was the big ones so disapointed but that was our mistake) we had lunch at the guides family resturant. So much food it was delicious. Was taken back to our riad around 6.30 pm so a long day but totally worth it. Only cost £30 odd english pounds. The guide Hassam was brilliant The day was great fun and we learnt and saw loads Really recomend this company
Omar was very very kindly and helpful more than I expected. He ask me all times if I want to take more pic or video. The price was very very good We get a ride of Camel for 15min We visit and tried a tropical Berber breakfast And we learn much about culture and information about different village We had an amazing lunch with our group. We walk hiking about 2-3 hours I think we raise to 1700m over the sea. So I was very satisfied with our trip ( I will not be able to do anything if I stayed in the Center of Medina and it will cost me more times ) I recommended Omar 100% I will make editing and make a video about that on YouTube ( Wesam Shaya )
Omar is a fantastic guide and this is an experience in every sense of the word. You'll have fun, you'll visit amazing places, and you'll learn the history of a region and its people. And on top of all that, Omar and his familiy invite you to have a traditional lunch at their house. An unforgettable experience.

We had a fantastic day. Our guide Omar comes from the area and has a lot of knowledge and stories. The trip starts with a fun ride on Camels, includes a delicious local lunch and has a hike in the beautiful Atlas mountains. One of the best guided trips we ever had.
Omar took myself and a friend on a ~7hr tour of the Atlas mountains that included ~3hr gentle walking, a camel ride, a stop for tea and to learn about the production of argan oil (much more interesting than it sounds!), a delicious meal, and many interesting facts and explanations. His manner was welcoming and professional, and he was very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody looking to explore the beautiful Atlas mountains scenery while learning about the rich history and culture of the Berber people that still inhabit them.
An excursion with Omar not to be missed . The dessert, the trek to the mountains, the camel ride, the visit to the Argan oil factory, the fantastic lunch provided by Omar's family, the waterfall all thoroughly enjoyed topped off by our wonderful guide Omar telling us all about the morroccan people, culture and history. If you can ask for this guide please do. A very kind caring and humble young man. Would highly recommend.
