Grekland är den plats där filosofin föddes och trivdes. Tillsammans med en medlem av vårt team kommer du att resa genom tiden i alla filosofiska rörelser i antika Grekland och upptäcka djupa kontakter med våra myter och gudar i Olympus. Demokrati, fysik, astronomi, etik och många andra tillämpade vetenskaper härrör från filosofi och naturligtvis anses filosofer som världens första intellektuella. Genom en 4 timmars privat promenadtur lär du dig allt intressant faktum om filosofer från Thales of Miletus till Sokrates och Platon, och från Aristoteles till den kyniska filosofen Diogenes of Sinope, vars berömda svar mot Alexander den stora “Stå ut ur mitt solljus”, när han frågades om det fanns någon tjänst som han kunde göra för honom, tyder på hans karaktär. Du kommer att bekanta dig med de viktigaste myterna om den antika grekiska världen, som berättelsen bakom födelsen av gudinnan Athena och allt kring den onda guden Hermes.

Du kommer att se Trilogin i Aten och resa genom tiden i alla filosofiska rörelser i antika Grekland!
Museet har en av de största samlingarna av mynt, antika och moderna, i världen.
Framför det grekiska parlamentet kommer du att bevittna en av de äldsta traditionerna i Grekland, presidentvaktens byte.
Gå runt i trädgården och lära dig om demokrati, fysik, astronomi, etik och många andra tillämpade vetenskaper som härrör från den grekiska filosofin.
Lär dig allt kring den onda gud Hermes!
Området är uppkallat efter Pantanassa-kyrkan som ligger på torget.
Ancient Agora är platsen där den stoiska filosofin föddes i Poikile Stoa.
Samtidigt som vi beundrar det berömda tornet av vindarna, kommer vi att lära oss allt om Aiolos, vindens innehavare.
I Plaka-området och Anafiotika, vid foten av Akropolis, kommer du att lära dig om de filmiska filosoferna!
Turnén avslutas på Areopagus-kullen med en fantastisk utsikt över Akropolis och myter om de olympiska gudarna!

We absolutely loved our Athens Highlights: Myths & Philosophers Walking Tour with Bianca. She was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept us engaged from start to finish. Her storytelling made ancient myths feel alive, and her passion for philosophy was contagious. One of the most enjoyable and memorable tours we’ve ever taken. Highly recommend Bianca!
I did this amazing walking tour with Bianca this morning and I could not recommend it highly enough. Not only did I learn about some of the great Greek philosophers and some Greek gods, but I also learnt about Athens. I have learnt to slow down, wander and get lost in this beautiful city. It was a wonderful way to start my time in Athens. I am going to employ this way of travelling during the rest of my Greek adventure. Thank you Bianca!
This tour was one of the best tours we have taken. Not only because it gave historical context to our time in Athens but because of our guide, Bianca. She was engaging, passionate, clearly expert in her subject yet made the the subject matter approachable and memorable. It was a walking tour and we covered a lot of ground, yet Bianca did an excellent job of pacing the tour, finding benches for us where possible so it didn't feel too much. The tour was equally loved by me, my husband and our 21 year old and it's clear that she is skilled at making the subject accessible for all ages. Highly recommend!
Bianca was exceptional in her knowledge but more importantly in her ability to enthuse and convey this so important information in such a pleasant and relaxed manner .. we didn’t know how the 4 hours flew by.
John was knowledgeable, patient, and personable. He was an enthusiastic guide - interested in architecture, connections of classical Greek philosophy to today (and the iterative eras between). From Socrates to Descartes, from the Stoics to Irvine, from Aristotle to Nussbaum - there is so much still to learn from the classical Greek philosophy. Along the way, you get to see Athens from a local's perspective.
Our lovely guide, Bianca, provided an amazing tour for our family. She was very knowledgeable and also warm and down to earth. She paced the tour well—we walked a lot, but had plenty of pauses, and we stopped for a drink at a rooftop restaurant. Bianca was organized in her approach, and pitched the material to our family’s interests. She was also flexible and adapted when needed. We had a great time with her and highly recommend this tour!

I was looking forward to hearing about the famous Greece philosophers while getting a brief tour of the notable city sites. Bianca exceeded my expectations in both regard. She is well educated in Greek philosophy and fully immersed in it. I went beyond her explanation to where we actually engaged in a discussion about 4 of the most famous philosophers.
