Aten: Akropolis och Parthenon guidad tur med valfritt museum

Really well organised by the company. Our guide Pol was excellent and very knowledgeable. She really brought the history and stories to life in an entertaining way. Would def recommend this tour including the museum.

The tour covered the Acropolis and the museum. We booked through Athenian Tours. Our guide, Stevi, was very knowledgeable as she was a previous archaeologist. The site was extremely crowded with basically one way up to the top and then back down the same way. She did a great job of giving time for photos and answering questions. The museum was outstanding and the layout out the collected stonework made it easy to picture where it would have originally been installed in a way that made sense.

Our 4 hour tour was fantastic- very well organised from start to finish, Marina our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. Great to have the ear piece along the way for direction and information. Highly recommend. Only thing I would say is it us 4 hours on your feet so ensure you are up for this!

Lydia did an amazing job leading out tour through the hot Athens streets. She was an absolute wealth of knowledge and I don’t think she stopped talking for 3.5 hours (but in a good way)! Highly recommend!

This sunday , one of my biggest dreams came true. As a Georgian, I grew up learning and listening to stories about ancient Greek mythology — the stories of Poseidon, Hades, Hermes, Zeus, their relationships, and their children. These stories have always fascinated me and have been a part of my imagination since childhood. This trip was a birthday gift because I had always dreamed of seeing the Caryatids with my own eyes. Today, that dream finally came true. I had the chance to see these magnificent women, some of the most beautiful and remarkable creations of the ancient world. At first, I thought I didn’t need a guide because I already knew so much about the history — what everything was, why it was built, and what had happened to these ancient sites over time. However, hiring a guide turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Our guide didn’t just explain the history; he brought every place to life. It felt as if I was witnessing the tragedies that happened there, seeing how patients were treated in ancient times, and standing among the great minds of history. It felt as if Aristotle and Plato were right there with us. I could almost imagine Poseidon himself demanding that a temple be built in his honor, threatening to flood the city if it wasn’t — a myth that has always made me smile and fascinated me. Our guide shared not only incredible stories but also made us laugh and truly enjoy every moment. He transformed a simple tour into an unforgettable journey through time. Thank you for taking me back to the past that I love so deeply. Thank you for introducing me to the first scientists and philosophers I have studied so much about, and for bringing to life the myths that I dreamed about as a child. I was concerned that we would not be able to fit it all into two hours but it turned out that two hours was perfect! Our guide was very knowledgable.

The museum doesn’t need 2 hours. Neither does Acropolis . Maybe give options of quick museum or detailed museum as our WHOLE group was checked out or tired of too much talking and info. To each their own. Our guide was amazing and she was kind, friendly and thorough. We love Lydia 🥰🤗 thank you Lydia. Acropolis is beautiful and not too hard to walk up as it seems from the bottom.

Chrysa led a great tour of the Acropolis! We did not do the museum, but we got a really good understanding of the history and architecture of Athens’s hilltop.
