Our private full-day tour from Athens to Corinth and Nemea was a perfect mix of ancient history, breathtaking sights, local culture, and delicious wine! From start to finish, our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely amusing, making the experience both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. We began by visiting the Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel with stunning views. Next, we visited the impressive Temple of Zeus, followed by a walk through an ancient stadium once used for athletic competitions. One of the most moving and unexpected moments was learning about the small roadside chapels, built in memory of loved ones lost in accidents. It was a quiet, poignant reminder of how deeply tradition and remembrance are woven into Greek culture. A highlight of the day was our visit to a local vineyard in Nemea, where we enjoyed a wine tasting with food pairings that perfectly complemented the region’s rich varietals. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming — the perfect setting to unwind and savor the flavors of the Peloponnese. We also toured a fascinating museum filled with ancient artifacts, which added depth and context to everything we had seen throughout the day. This tour was a standout experience — beautifully paced, thoughtfully curated, and brought to life by guides who clearly love sharing the treasures of their country.
