Din grupp med minst 2 personer kan njuta av en tidig morgonhämtning från ditt boende för att vara vid portarna till Arusha National Park vid cirka 10:00. Köran till parken är kort; kaffeplantager och småstäder med upptagen livstid håller dig underhöll i de 50 minuter det tar innan du går på en grusväg och börjar stigande mot parkporten. Här kommer en beväpnad ranger att gå med innan han ställer sig ut över öppna slätter för din avkopplande morgonvandringssafari i skuggorna av Mt Meru. Uppstigning av Mt Meru stigning ger ett intressant perspektiv när man tittar på vilda djur med stor utsikt över parken nedan. En gång tillbaka ner vid porten kör du den korta avståndet till Momella Lakes för en picknick lunch (extra kostnad på $ 10 USD). Här kan du njuta av en kanot safari (tillval) på sjön eller fortsätta med eftermiddagsspåren genom parken i en avslappnad takt. Eftermiddagen lämnar parken till huvudet tillbaka till ditt boende.
Mount Meru är en vilande stratovolcano som ligger 70 kilometer väster om Kilimanjaro-berget i landet Tanzania. På en höjd av 4562,13 meter är det synligt från Kilimanjaro-berget på en klar dag och är det femte högsta berget i Afrika, beroende på definition.

This was our first of 6 safari locations spanning Arusha National Park, Tarangarire, Ngorngoro Crater, and Central Serengeti. A great introduction to Tanzania's warm culture and the beautiful animals. Our guide Julius was informative, interesting, fun, and made us feel safe the entire day. Although a little further away than we saw at the other parks, we did see giraffes, colobus monkeys, zebras, Cape Buffalo, and a hippo! Baboons were also plentiful and entertaining. Lunch overlooking the lake was very good and water through the day was plentiful.

<p>Took the tour the last day of my 1 week trip, flying out at 8:50pm, tour lasted 7:30am - 5pm, paid the tour company to drop me off at The airport at the end of the tour. Worked out perfectly. </p> <p>After a six day safari visiting Serengeti, ngorongoro, tarengeri and lake manyara, I was not expecting much. But it is beyond my expectations! The walking safari was the highlight. We were lucky to run into a family of 5 giraffes right at the start of the walking tour. It's amazing walking on soft grass grounds, 10 meters from giraffes, 50 meters from a few buffaloes, with another huge herd of buffaloes 100 meters away on the other side of a small creek, with mountain meru as the background There are also a lot of sighting of baby giraffes, in addition to flamingos lake, hippos lake, lot of monkeys. It's mostly a rain forest, very different look from the other parks. A great way to end my first safari! </p> <p>My guide was amazing. It's low season, I was the only guest in the car, just like a private tour. Highly recommended!</p>
