Arrayanes skog med Victoria Island

Genom att känna Victoria Island och bevittna Arrayanes Forest-showen är det ett nöje som miljoner besökare i nationalparken redan har upplevt, men denna ö väntar fortfarande med sina intakta bevarandeförhållanden, nästa besökare som anländer till Puerto Anchorena för att gå av och resa den.

en unik art Beläget i Los Arrayanes nationalpark, är det den enda kvar i världen. Den i Japan försvann för några år sedan. Idag blev det ett skyddat område på grund av betydelsen av dess arter och mångfalden av inhemskt liv. Myrtens vetenskapliga namn är Myrceugenella apiculata. Dessa inhemska träd, tillsammans med de på Victoria Island, beräknas vara cirka 300 år gamla. Arrayánen är mycket hög och når cirka 18 meter och vissa exemplar når upp till 25 meter. Dess stam når cirka 50 cm. i diameter och är extremt vriden. Det kanelfärgade skalet täckt med oregelbundna vita fläckar är alltid kallt, även om det är mjukt att ta på och lossnar i tallrikar. Blommorna är små och vita, liknar apelsinblomman och dess violfrukter som ursprungsbefolkningen gjorde chicha och godis med. Inom populärmedicin bereds en infusion med bladen för att lugna muskelsmärtor och tarmtillstånd.
Vi kommer att gå igenom lummiga stigar och uppskatta de många trädarterna som sequoia, björkar, granar, aromos, tallar, etc. Vi kan svalka oss (på sommaren, ja) i vattnet i Playa del Toro

Viator describes this tour as having a maximum number of 10 persons. That is why we selected it. Turns out we were on a boat with 100 people. Textbook case of bait and switch by Viator. The people running the boat and the guides leading the tour were very good.
We have already corrected the number of passengers traveling on the catamaran in the text, as it was not a deception, but rather a misunderstanding regarding the maximum number of passengers we can sell for a day. This was a really enjoyable tour. Beautiful scenery and tremendous experience. Our tour guide, Malina, was extremely knowledgeable of the flora, trees and history of the island and forest. This tour company was excellent!!!

Very nice excursion. We asked for the english speaking tour and our guide was great. There were only two of us on the hike on victoria Island. We had a 50 minute hike at a good pace and saw lots of the island The boat ride was comfortable. In the beginning it was a bit confusing when we got to the port. We were not sure which boat and how things were organized. A few minutes explanation while still on bus would eliminate any confusion. Definitely recommend.

It was raining and I couldn't walk in the forest. The guide also doesn't provide much information. So it was just a boat ride.
