Ta en paus från Atens överfulla historiska hotspots och bege dig ut ur staden för en resa tillbaka till det förflutna. Besök det ikoniska Apollotemplet, gå på gamla gator och upptäck Korints legendariska förflutna. Med denna heldagstur till den pittoreska strandhamnen Nafplio, upptäck Grekland utanför Aten. Upptäck 2 historiska städer Ancient Corinth och Nafplio. Längs vägen, gör stopp vid antika Korint arkeologiska plats, Palamidi slott och Korintkanalen. Innan du åker till Aten bör du ta dig tid att utforska Nafplios strand och gamla byggnader. Njut av en lunch på en grekisk traditionell taverna.

Efter 1 timmes körning kommer vi att göra ett stopp vid korintkanalen som förbinder Egeiska havet med Adriatiska havet och byggdes på 1800-talet. Du kommer att ha chansen att ta några fantastiska bilder och beundra utsikten över detta tekniska underverk.
Fly från Atens liv och ge dig ut på ett heldagsäventyr genom Peloponnesos, där antik historia, lokala smaker, charmiga städer och fantastiska stränder väntar. Din resa börjar i antikens Korint, där Apollotemplets storhet och den fascinerande arkeologiska platsen väcker det förflutna till liv. Promenera genom ruinerna av en av antikens mest betydande städer, fördjupa dig i dess rika historia och kultur. Passa på att besöka det arkeologiska museet, där du hittar välbevarade artefakter som visar upp det rika kulturarvet i denna gamla stad. Den ger en djupare inblick i Korints historiska betydelse.
Du kommer att ha chansen att utforska den moderna grekiska statens första huvudstad. Promenera på de smala gatorna med fantastiska restauranger, kaféer och butiker med lokala produkter. Ta ett stopp vid Syntagma (Constitution)-torget och beundra byggnaderna från 1700- och 1800-talet. Gå på boulevarden i Nafplio hamn med utsikt över Bourtzi-fästningen som byggdes för att vakta hamnen.
Vi kommer att besöka Akronafplia från utsidan, en fästning i veneciansk stil och vi kommer att stirra på den hisnande utsikten över Argolic golf och ta en massa bilder.
Det byggdes av Antonio Gambello, en arkitekt från Bergamo 1471, även om konstruktionen slutfördes av ingenjören Brancaleone. Denna fästning byggdes av venetianerna efter Mahmut Pashas avgång 1473 och utrustad med kanoner. År 1502 ändrade venetianarna befästningarna på sydvästra sidan till en självständig vall och reste en konstgjord hög av stenblock till vilken de fäste en kedja. Kedjan kopplades sedan till staden för att förhindra fientliga fartyg från att komma in i hamnen.

Miltos is a great driver and went above and beyond with the service. Would highly recommend for epic day of touring Ancient Greek sites. Clocked over 10,000 steps so be sure to wear comfy clothes and wear lots of sunscreen (reapply) and bring extra water.

This trip went from Athens with a stop in Ancient Corinth and then to Nafplio. The driver was safe and punctual, and a good communicator. Car was comfortable and the trip was smooth. Would recommend !

Private tour with a wonderful guide/driver, Fotis. It was nice to leave the crowds of Athens for a day to see 2 more accropoli. To see the mountains with snow covered peaks and then to see people in the ocean swimming in the same day is amazing. Nafplio was beautiful and quiet coastal town.

Beautiful sites outside of Athens. The canal is amazing and you can get up close without crowds to the wonderful sites in Nafplio. We were the only people on the tour in the clean and new vehicle. Fotis was able to answer all questions. He was great.
