Anne Frank och Amsterdam Jewish History Walking Tour

Beskrivning

You will learn more than you think! The story becomes more of a living story ! It comes alive!! Truly a must do if you’re in Amsterdam!! Highly recommend Iris she was brilliant!
I thought this was a ticket to the actual anne frank house, it is just for a walking tour. Very disappointed in the lack of clarity when purchasing.
Definitely learned things I didn’t know. Craig was an excellent tour guide. The walk was easy and flat, but they were having a heatwave so I would bring and umbrella for shade.
Our guide informed us that he had already done one excursion today and he was hot and tired. It was a hot and humid afternoon. But you could tell he didn’t want to be there. Most everything was read to us. He got into an argument with a restaurant owner.
First of all , it does NOT include a tour of the Anne Frank house. It is in rather small print and I missed it. With that said, our tour was wonderful! Our leader, Caroline, was fantastic. She had done some research of her own to compliment the tour, including good pictures, of where the Franks lived while in hiding and other topics. Basically the tour included a history of Amsterdam and the Jewish people who Lived here. If it’s decided to go on this tour, ask for Caroline and then go buy tickets to the museum to go after the tour - at least 6 weeks in advance.
Iris was so informative. She gave us so much history and information I’m leaving with a whole new insight to Anne and her family’s plight.
Book if you can with Craig.. he was fantastic.. the tour gives an insight into Amsterdam itself and life under the Nazi enforcement especially the horrific tales of Jews fete via The Franks Family through the eyes of Ann Frank..
This was a fantastic tour. There was only 5 of us so it was a great way to get to know our tour guide. The history of this tour was very informative and I loved that she used a book to show us all of the references as we walked around the city. Would highly recommend.
Very educational. Great guide who was animate and supplied us with extra information about the Netherlands and Holocaust.
Excellent, thoughtful tour of Amsterdam with focus not just on Anne Frank, but the Jewish community during the war, other hidden Jews.
