Ang Thong National Marine Park är en fascinerande skärgård av 42 eller så öar i centrala kusten i södra Thailand. Det är nordväst om Koh Samui Koppla av på vacker strand och njut av vattenaktiviteter som simning, snorkling eller kajakpaddling i kristallklart havsvatten (all inclusive!). Besök Thalay Nai eller Emerald Lake, en saltvatten sjö omgiven av kalksten klippor. Njut av vattenaktiviteter som snorkling, kajakpaddling, ta kontakt med den välbevarade naturen i den nationella marina parken. Utmana dig själv genom att klättra på Wua Talap Hill för att se öarna från toppen.

The scenery is very beautiful but I just want to warm people about the monkeys. One charged at me, knocked me over and I had to go for rabies and tetanus shots. I wish I was warned about the monkeys. Don’t walk alone if you’re female! They told me he was an alpha male wanting to see if I had food in my hands which I didn’t. It was quite traumatic!

The park rangers closely monitor visitors throughout the island, and there are warning signs explaining the presence of wild monkeys and providing guidance on how to avoid unwanted interactions, such as not carrying food visibly or approaching the animals. As these are wild monkeys living in their natural habitat, their behavior can sometimes be unpredictable despite these precautions. Absolutely fabulous! Definitely coming back. The crew were very helpful and knowledgeable, the boat was a bit packed. All stops and cruising around the park were absolutely fantastic!

Great day, exactly as in description. Catered to a gluten free diet really well at lunch, breakfast was just fruit. I’m coeliac and they kept all the gluten free food totally seperate to the rest of it. Make sure you let them know when you book though.

Great tour, hikes are brutal but worth it. Snorkeling was ok could have been shorter so enough time to kayak as no time if do first hike. Fun staff

For $66 this was an incredible day trip and 110% worth the price. Mikey the tour guide was so funny and very knowledgeable. The best part of the day was hiking up to the view and seeing the beautiful park (it’s really hard but so very worth it!). A highlight of my trip for sure

Very good experience. 3 stops. Lots of fish in the snorkelling area but very busy with lots of people and boats. The hike and the second stop is super tiring but a great view at the top. The crew were lovely and made the trip.

The tour guide and speedboat were excellent. The snorkelling was very average and far too short a time as the main experience is the marine park climb and the same for emerald lagoon. If you want snorkeling to be your main event definitely dont do this trip. Snorkeling was dissapointing as the coral reef is badly bleached and even the tour guide advised this was not the best spot to snorkel. There were very few fish around, Only do this trip if you want to climb Ang Thong National Marine Park to experience the various viewpoints.

Snorkeling is included, but it is not the main highlight of this experience. For travelers who are looking for a trip with more extensive snorkeling, we recommend our Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan tour, which offers some of the best snorkeling spots in the area.
