It is a long day but there are plenty of bathroom and snack breaks. It’s a great way to see 3 countries in one day.
The trip itself was great but Viatar subcontracted with Amigo Tours, which resulted in a very poor experience for my daughter and myself. Amigo Tours offered me transport from my hotel to the pick up point for a fee (about double an uber) and then they basically called me an uber- which did not show up when it was supposed to. I spent half an hour trying to sort it out and got poor support from Amigo. A driver did show up 30 minutes late and we ALMOST missed out bus. The driver said he was late because he was only called to pick me up 5 minutes before his arrival. When I spoke with Amigo, they said the transport company claimed there was a big car accident blocking traffic and making communications with the driver difficult. This was a lie as our driver had no awareness of an accident and the streets were quiet. I asked Amigo to refund my transport fare and they said no. They said that I should be fine because I didn’t miss the bus. Bottom line- my daughter and I were told if we were 5 minutes late to the pick up, the car would leave and we would still have to pay. When the car was 30 minutes late, we were told “no harm, no foul”. Not the standard of customer service I expect from Viatar and when I told Amigo tours that I would complain, they said, “go ahead” and seemed Totally ambivalent about my experience.
Groups were quite large. Our guides were good. I didn’t realize it would be bilingual but I thought the guides did a great job speaking two languages. Our stop in France was at a military outpost village place where there were not restrooms easy to get to, no stores, a lot of things weren’t open. I’d skip the France part if I had a choice. We could have spent longer in Andorra. It was a pretty time of year to visit.
The experience is highly recommended! Very punctual for everything! The trip with Enrique and Dikra was really very pleasant and comfortable.
Amigo Tour provided an incredible experience. They sent all the necessary details via WhatsApp before our trip. The tour guide, Enrique, was incredibly funny, respectful, and professional in both Spanish and English. I highly recommend Amigo Tour if you’re looking to visit three countries in a single day! And don’t miss out on shopping in Andorra.
The logistics and timing of the trip was well done. I remember first thinking I just want to go to Andorra, but the stop at Mont Louis was well worth it. The bus and driver were great. The guide, Enrique, was good about communicating details about the logistics of the trip, and coordinated the group well. The guide started out great and passionate, and gave a good description of Mont Louis. But the Andorra description was sub par. It seems like he got tired and gave up as he said he would tell us more. What was more disappointing is that when we got to Andorra, he didn’t point out the main sites / where to go / what to see or eat like he did in Mont Louis. Instead, he was more interested in dragging this group from what we heard from other travelers as an awful inauthentic tourist trap restaurant called Primavera. I knew better than to follow his suggestion, as I’m aware that sometimes receive kickbacks for taking people to certain restaurants. But what was particularly disappointing was this was prioritized over telling us to see important sites like Casa De Valle, and point us in that direction. Thanks to AI we saw this important site, but most tourists missed It. The brochure advertised a guided tour in Andorra, all he did was lead people to the restaurant. The guide’s English could have been clearer / better. I’ve had much cleare , better speaking guides in less touristy places like Cartagena and Mallorca, so was surprised to see that his English was not the best, but I’m not taking points off for that. At the end, he said to only leave him a review if we gave him five stars. There were jokes about him asking.people to buy him things. That is unethical. it’s one thing to say “if you loved you experience, it would mean a lot to me if you left a great review or tip.” It’s another to say “if you don’t give 5 stars, my name is (he made up some random name I can’t remember).
Great tour, very well organized, and with friendly/helpful guide and driver! I would recommend!
We were really looking forward to visiting Andorra and we’re not disappointed. The guide was great and was able to communicate in Spanish and English. It’s is a long bus ride but I wouldn’t expect anything else.
Had to sit in back of bus, hot, seat was uncomfortable. Excursion sucked ,. Wasn't the guide s fault she was just doing her job but was hard to understand when it came to English.

Laura was a fantastic guide for our 12-hour Amigo Tours trip through Spain, France, and Andorra. She was knowledgeable, organized, and kept the entire group on schedule throughout a very full day. We started on time and ended on time, which was impressive considering how much we covered. It was such a fun, packed experience getting to visit three countries in one day. I would have loved a little more time at each stop, but I completely understand the need to keep the tour moving because of the distance and long itinerary. My only suggestion would be to schedule the Andorra stop when more of the Old Town shops are open, as I would have enjoyed exploring that area more. At the end of the tour, Laura gave us a local insider’s guide to Barcelona with recommendations for dining, shopping, and sightseeing. That extra touch made the experience feel even more special. Thank you, Laura, for such a memorable day!
