REGULIERSGRACHT (7 BROAR): monumental utsikt - Den enda punkten i Amsterdams kanaler där du kan se sju broar efter varandra i en enda vy
Jämfört med de andra kanalerna är Prinsengracht en relativt blygsam kanal. Medan Herengracht byggdes och designades för Amsterdams överklass, designades Prinsengracht som en övergångskanal mellan det rika kanalbältet och arbetarklasskvarteren (Jordaan) som omgav dem. Detta kan också ses i husen på Prinsengracht, som är mycket mer "nyktra" jämfört med de andra kanalerna: mindre breda och med färre dekorationer än på de andra kanalerna.
MAGERE BRUG "SKINNY BRIDGE" är den äldsta fortfarande fungerande, delvis trä, vindbryggan i Amsterdam och ett nationalmonument. Den magra bron byggdes på 1600-talet. På den tiden hade stadsfullmäktige lite ont om pengar, så de bestämde sig för att inte bygga en orimlig bro, utan en billig (trä istället för sten) och smal ('mager'). Bron var så smal att folk knappt kunde passera varandra, eller så måste de vara väldigt magra. Den nuvarande bron är från 1934. Biltrafiken har inte tillåtits passera den sedan 2003. Den magra bron är Amsterdams mest kända bro, och miljön för många filmer (inklusive James Bond).
HERMITAGE MUSEUM ligger i Amstelhof. Byggnaden är från 1681 och var ursprungligen ett vårdhem (i 300 år). 2007 gjordes äldreboendet om till museum. Vissa rum har underhållits och restaurerats. Eremitaget är ett annex till Eremitaget i Sankt Petersburg, Ryssland, och delar en del av sin konstsamling med den i Ryssland. Tillsammans har de två Hermitage den största konstsamlingen i världen.
BLAUWBRUG 'BLUE BRIDGE' har fått sitt namn till sin föregångare: en vindbro som Skinny Bridge, men med blå räcken. Den nuvarande Blauwbrug är från 1883 och inspirerades av Pont Neuf i Paris. På grund av världsutställningen i Amsterdam 1883 behövdes en ny bro med storslaget utseende. Kronorna på toppen av bron är "kejserliga kronor" och är samma kronor som på Westerkerk och i stadsvapen. Kronan är kejsarens krona av det heliga romerska riket, som gavs av kejsar Maxi-milian I 1489 som tack för Amsterdams penningstöd. Kejsarens krona är ett bevis på att även den store kejsaren rekommenderade Amsterdam, och därför mycket viktig för handeln.

Had a wonderful hour on the Amsterdam canals plenty of cheese and wine set out for us. The skipper Onno was great fun and very knowledgeable well worth the money

The bout Was terrible. No cover, no tabels, no bences. chees was put on a littel tabel. Worst experiense I ve had . You should be ashamed .

We were surprised by your review, as no concerns were raised with our skipper or host during or after the cruise. Had we known that you were dissatisfied, we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss it with you on the spot and see whether we could have improved your experience. On the day of your cruise, we deliberately operated the Cheese & Wine Cruise on one of our open boats because the weather forecast was excellent. Every booking was provided with its own private table, from which the cheese and wine were served throughout the cruise. Our open boats are configured differently from our salon boats, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed views while still having their own dedicated table for the tasting experience. We also recognise that preferences differ. While many guests on board that day told our crew they had thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we fully respect that it did not meet your personal expectations. That said, we were disappointed to receive a 1-star review without having had the opportunity to address your concerns during the cruise. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best with your future travels.
Onno was a great guide and welcome to Amsterdam. The cheese, wine and grapes were great and the conversation informative and friendly. We ended up with a private tour and it was great!

Best way to see Amsterdam. Especially at sunset. We were a little early and we were lucky. The girl told us some places to go and see very friendly people.

We booked this experience assuming the other passengers had booked the same. However, we were the only passengers on board having the wine and cheese, and everyone else was just staring at us. Some of the other passengers made a joke of it and even poured our wine for us, but it was just a very odd experience.
We had a bad experience from the start the put us on a small boat with a lot of people. We couldn’t hear the tour director. We were the only one served with wine and cheese since we booked that way. We felt very uncomfortable having that since no one was having. We thought we were going to be part of the group who had the same thing. We felt very uncomfortable having it. I am asking for a refund.
We were fortunate that we were the only couple in the boat. Floris and Robbie were delightful, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had lots of laughter and highflying recommend the experience. One of our best experiences so far. Thank you!!
