Beskrivning

It was a pleasure going on a tour of Paris with Nicolas, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about the connection between our two countries! I particularly enjoyed the section on Benjamin Franklin and Passy and the statue at Place Yorktown. I also appreciated the conversations we had in between the stops; it was especially cool to discuss Paris and its history with him along the way. I would highly recommend Nicolas and am thankful for the little things he did to make the tour excellent — a bottle of water, an American and French flag, and a list of other sites to see. That doesn’t go unnoticed!

I did this tour with Nicolas as part of an English class with my University. The tour was very interesting. The walk itself is extremely pleasant and takes you through beautiful areas, with lovely views of the Eiffel Tower that I had never seen before. I also discovered several monuments linked to American history that are little known but truly impressive. At each stop, the explanations were clear, informative, and helped us better understand the unique historical ties between France and the United States. A wonderful combination of history and enjoyable walk. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you Nicolas.

An in-depth tour showing the close relationship between France and America during the American revolution. At just more than 2.5 hours, it was a bit longer than I would’ve preferred, but the historical sites were fascinating and beautiful. I would recommend this tour to American history buffs, and anyone who wants to have a better understanding of how France contributed to the success of the revolution.
