Jairo is an excellent host who will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. He’s very knowledgeable of the jungle and the Amazon way of life. He was very punctual and accommodating and made my stay an excellent one.

such a great experience and adventure!! the animals we saw, the food they cooked (extra veggie for us!!!), the hospitality and the place we stayed - all in all 10/10 experience! the only thing that could have made it better were capybaras - but its nature and we can‘t control that! maybe next time!! reynel and jairo made this tour very special - muchas gracias!

Although there is a program of activities to be carried out, the guide leaves available to passengers the order of activities to be carried out, as well as the schedule, which sometimes generates disorder and uncoordination. Apart from this, the place of accommodation was good and the food spectacular with food prepared on site and with products from the same area. A point of improvement is to travel by barge or boat with greater safety implements, such as a life jacket, especially if the river is not 100% calm

If you want an authentic Amazon experience, Reynel and Hiro are the place to be! Reynel and Hiro make their 'childhood-home' available to enjoy and experience in the Amazon. You do the similar things as you read online on all tours; boating, exploring the Amazon, fishing and possibly camping both during the day and in the evening. However, Reynel and Hiro themselves are hugely in love or the Amzone making the experience with them rawer and more real than anywhere else you are going to get it. They do this together with so much passion and their knowledge and enthusiasm splashes off. This ensures a nice and warm but above all adventurous experience. Good to know that it is not a luxury lodge, the stay is great and beautiful but it is not quite in order here and there. You obviously have everything you need, around sleeping, food and hygiene. But it's not a big chain so it's a bit dusty, messy or a bit broken. Therefore for the room one star less, it was not quite top tidy and clean but livable. We didn't mind this, but I imagine you'll find it unpleasant. They do everything as a couple so sometimes you have to wait or as we used it, time to catch your breath and relax. Which means that you have to give Reynel and Hiro time to prepare, cook, pack things. It may not be perfect but they try very hard and do it with a lot of love. The food is delicious by the way, nothing to complain about. They could also take a vegetarian diet into account, (read fish, fruit or potato as a substitute). In addition, it remains the Amazon so everything depends of course on what the weather allows and what plants, animals and beasts you encounter. Which only makes it extra exciting for me, you never know what you’re going to find and really go looking while hearing Reynel’s fantastic facts and stories. This is exactly what makes the whole experience and as if you really live in the Amazon. We loved it and perfectly matched our wishes so it is absolutely what you prefer. If you want a trip arranged from A to Z, it is best to book something with a larger company but if you want to really feel, taste, see and live an authentic experience and the Amazon, then look no further as far as I am concerned.

They picked us up from the airport and took us to the boat that would take us to the lodge, Mr. Reynel was very friendly and helpful at all times. The trip from Iquitos to the lodge is approximately 2 hours or more where you sail along the Amazon River and observe the various varieties of birds that exist, we were lucky enough to see some dolphins as well. The lodge is a place surrounded by nature, birds and monkeys, the biodiversity observed is immense. In the main area where there was the dining table and a hammock you could see the garden and all the nature there was. The room where we stayed was clean and had its own bathroom, there were no outlets to charge cell phones, there is a time from 6 to 9 pm where you can charge your electronic devices and there is no internet. The food was very delicious but there wasn't much variety. The nice thing about the tour is that it is personalized, in this case we were 3 people and a guide just for us and the whole place too, we took walks at night in the middle of the jungle seeing the animals that could be there such as toads, spiders, bats, millipedes , etc. During the day there were also walks but to see the flora that was there, take photos up the trees and they explained to us the medicinal properties of the trees and plants that were there. The experience with the monkeys was very nice, they were very friendly since you could hold them and feed them, you could take photos with the sloth bear and toucan. The activities we did were kayaking, swimming in the Amazon River, fishing and visiting a tribe (although it was not a very exciting experience since they did not teach you how they lived or what their customs were, it was more a place where they sold their crafts than each other. one made like necklaces, bracelets, dream catchers, etc.). A suggestion I would make to the tour would be to tell stories or legends that exist in that area of Peru and serve typical dishes from the Peruvian jungle to learn more about the culture. Suggestions: -Bringing repellent is essential since there are quite a few mosquitoes -Bring several change of clothes since doing all the activities you end up sweating or getting your whole body wet. In conclusion, a very beautiful and fun experience that allows you to relax and immerse yourself in nature.

I had a lot of fun in the Amazon rainforest. I saw spiders, lizards, pink dolphins, and many plants in the rainforest. I saw the sunrise and sunset in the rainforest. The food was also very good. Reynel was very nice.
