After the crowds and bustle of Rome, this boating trip was an absolute dream come true. Giovanni was punctual, personable, and incredibly professional. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, with personal touches that made the experience feel truly special. Even our beach lunch was perfectly taken care of. It was a beautiful, relaxing, and unforgettable day—the perfect escape for our family of five.

The Highlight of Our Trip! Our 6-hour private boat tour with Alfonso was hands-down the best day of our trip and an absolute highlight of our time on the Amalfi Coast! From the very beginning, everything was seamless. Communication was excellent, and the pickup and drop-off were easy and stress-free, which made the entire experience feel effortless from start to finish. Alfonso was personable, easygoing, and an incredible captain. Being born and raised in Positano, he shared fascinating history and local stories throughout the day, giving us a much deeper appreciation for the coast. He handled the boat beautifully, and we always felt safe and comfortable—never once feeling seasick. The day itself was unforgettable. We swam into caves, swam with fish, and used the provided goggles to see them underwater. The floaties made us feel comfortable and safe while swimming, and having towels, snacks, and Prosecco provided made everything so easy and relaxing. The boat was beautiful, and there was absolutely no feeling of being rushed. One of our favorite touches was how naturally Alfonso took photos of our family throughout the day. He seemed to intuitively know when to capture those special moments, giving us wonderful photos and memories without us having to ask. Our son is 12, and Alfonso was fantastic with him. He made him feel comfortable and included, especially while swimming and exploring the water, while still giving us plenty of time together as a family. Alfonso also struck the perfect balance between being part of our day and giving us space. He interacted with us enough that he started to feel like a friend we were out on the water with, while still giving us plenty of uninterrupted family time. That made the experience feel incredibly personal without ever feeling intrusive. We were initially unsure about the option to get off the boat for lunch because we wondered if it would take away from our 6-hour boat experience. Alfonso explained that we could bring our own lunch aboard, have lunch after the tour, or choose to get off the boat and have lunch onshore at our own expense. He recommended a beautiful beach club and even arranged the reservation for us, which made it completely seamless. We are so glad we chose to do it! It ended up adding to the experience rather than taking away from it. Having lunch at a recommended beach club gave us a chance to experience another side of the Amalfi Coast and really added to the feeling of living the boat life for the day. It never felt like time wasted or taken away from the experience. Between the swimming, caves, fish, beautiful coastline, history, photos, Prosecco, and simply having time to relax together as a family, the entire day was exactly what we hoped a private boat experience would be—and more. Giovanni was an angel! We did a 2 hour sunset tour and stopped off for a swim along the way. He was very knowledgeable about the coastline and the history and had a full selection of beer and prosecco. The boat was perfect and he was a great skipper- dropped us right to the pier of the santa caterina hotel! Could not recommend him enough- wish we had done longer

The boat was super nice and stocked with lots of snacks and drinks. It was a great five star experience. The captain was great. He explained all the things we were seeing at our various sites throughout the day. He also offered advice on what to see and do at the port stops. Worth the price we paid for a private boat day.

This was hands down the best thing we did on our trip to the Amalfi Coast — and the best day of the entire trip! We did the private boat tour with another couple, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Our skipper, Giovanni, was fantastic. He grew up in Positano and is truly a local, so having him show us the coast felt completely different from a typical tourist tour. He knew all the best views and spots, and we got to see the Amalfi Coast from the water in a way you just can’t experience from the road. The weather was amazing, but honestly, the views from the boat were the highlight. We got some of the best pictures of our entire trip, and being able to get away from the crowds made the day feel so special. Seeing all towns and the coastline from the water was incredible. Giovanni also took us to an amazing lunch spot right off the beach, which was such a great local experience. Nothing felt rushed or overly planned — he really made the day feel like we were out on the coast with someone who knew exactly where to take us. Giovanni grew up in Positano, and at one point we actually passed his brother, who was driving another boat! We met lots of locals on our trip which made it that much special. The boat was great, and having a bottle of Prosecco included was the perfect touch. And I have to mention my hat incident 😂. About five minutes into the trip, my hat flew off into the water — obviously, my own fault! Giovanni immediately turned the boat around, without missing a beat, and fished it right out of the water for me. We cannot recommend this experience enough. If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast, do the boat tour. It was hands down the best day of our trip, and something all four of us will remember for a long time!

My family of 4 had a fantastic time with Giovanni. He had life jackets for our 1 and 2 year old as well as an inflatable boat that was awesome for floating in the water swimming to small beaches. He had plenty of snacks and drinks on board and took us to an authentic lunch spot in Positano whose staff and cuisine was amazing. We had ample time to explore the coast and did not feel rushed. Both our children felt relaxed enough to sleep on board. 5 stars! Best part of our Amalfi trip!
