I en bondgård i Sorrento kullar, lära känslor och insatser av traditionella Amalfikusten köket på denna halvdag, matlagning klass. Ankomma på morgonen för bakverk och cappuccino, träffa din kock och lär dig om regionens kök som du äter frukost. Gör en rundtur i bondgården och välj grönsakerna med händerna i trädgården. Efteråt spenderar du flera timmar på att förbereda en flerspråkig fest. När matlagningen är klar, sitta ner för att njuta av lunchen som du har förberett. Bondegårdsfamiljen kommer att gå med dig till lunch tillsammans med lokalt vin och vyer.

We had a truly wonderful cooking school experience today! It all started when they picked us up from Sorrento and took us to the Sorrento hills. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with a breathtaking view. Then we went into the garden with the most lovely family, surrounded by animals, fresh vegetables, and fruits. We picked all the produce ourselves, ready for the dishes. In the kitchen, the chef was amazing, guiding us through every step as we prepared antipasti, first and second courses. Finally, we all sat down together to enjoy everything we had made, with wine included. It was fantastic—just fantastic!
We were guests of the farmhouse for two nights so felt a connection to the farm and our hosts. A great setting and backdrop to be working in our outdoor prep kitchen and learn so much about cooking in a really fun environment. Bonus was to be able jump in and help the team bottle tomatoes. Totally recommend as a genuine experience.
Let me just say that Salvatore, Mario and the chefs, and other staff were fantastic! Very welcoming and friendly. It was a great day with my family in a beautiful setting at an Italian family’s home. 4 or 5 generations! Started out with a little breakfast and coffee at the farmhouse. We went out to the garden and picked tomatoes, basil, parsley and peppers, saw the farm animals then went to prepare our food. All hands on deck. Small group of 10 or 12. We made ALOT of gnocchi, stuffed fried zucchini florets, fresh turbot fish and tomatoes, caprese lemon chocolate cake and more. They taught us how to make all these step by step.( homemade tomato sauce was already done ahead of time and fish was cleaned and filleted by the chef). Then Everyone sat and ate what we prepared in a beautiful outdoor setting with plenty of wine to go around and limoncello. A bonus is getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We were so full that we did not eat dinner that night! It’s a “must do” while in Sorrento.
Very relaxing place to take the class. Lots of fun with the chefs as well as the host brothers. Didn't realize it would just be the two of us in the class. Really great experience and loved taking our time to enjoy the fruits of our labor at the end.
Salvatore, Angelo, Mario, and Mama Luisa extended such a warm welcome to their guests. The stars of the show were our chef’s Ralpheal, and Antonio. It was small and intimate. Definitely hands on and so much fun! Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend having this experience. We traveled from the U S to Italy for a two week vacation. Out of all the things that we did this was definitely the most enjoyable. The food that we learned to make was incredible and the location was absolutely amazing. The hospitality that we received was fantastic. Everything was wonderful!!!
I traveled around Italy several times over the years. I’ve done a ton of activities that were amazing. I have to say that this cooking class was the best experience out of them all! I can’t say enough about the hospitality of the people hosting the class. The food that we ate and learned to cook was fantastic. I would highly recommend this class.
Fantastic experience. Chef Antonio and the family that owns the restaurant and hotel were phenomenal. They picked us up at the hotel. Offered light breakfast. Took tour of the family farm that they use to make their own olive oil, Limecello, vegetables, rabbit, chicken, pasta. We made a four course meal yesterday. Started with a black rice salad, fried zucchini flour stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella, homemade gnocchi with homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella, eggplant parmigiana worth a glass red wine or Limecello if you prefer. Finish with almond cheesecake. Beautiful view with wonderful food. Highly recommend.
Our favorite thing we experienced, and we went for a week in Italy and then a cruise through Italy, France and Spain! This was top notch! Found a local farm/hotel through the ever tour trap visitor/trip advisor and took a cooking class. Italian authentic barely English speaking chef and all. They live off their gardens and waters, make their own wine, etc. Ended up spending 6 hours there, eating and drinking and chatting… while they set up for a 25 year vow renewal. Best experience ever. People were fantastic. Congrats to Margo and Anthony!!!! We are not “tourist driven experience” so we thought this was a good fit and it was fantastic. We wanted authentic and we got it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful hosts, wonderful farm, wonderful Italian chef, wonderful food and wonderful new friends!!!! Not touristy at all. Authentic and would 100000% recommend. It was incredible!!!
