My wife and I had a lovely time today. Andrea and the driver were fantastic and ensured we were comfortable for the long day ahead. Romulo was a fantastic guide at Pompeii and honestly enhanced the experience so much with his knowledge and passion for Pompeii. It was also a beautiful drive along the coast and seeing all the cities truly made it a day we won’t forget !
The Amalfi Coast is a long way from Rome, but it is worth the trip. It is so beautiful and the guides were great.

Andrea, part of the office staff, answered all our questions regarding a private tour. Our guide, Nariman aka Superman did a fabulous job on putting together our full day private tour to the Almafi Coast! Our driver, Fabio, keep us safe on the roads (especially when a hail storm popped up out if nowhere!) and was very helpful getting us in and out of the van and stowing our gear and purchases. The scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious, shopping was fun and the surprise ferry boat ride was great! Highly recommend this tour (guide and driver) if/when booking with Welcome Italy!

An exceptional day between Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast! We spent an absolutely unforgettable day thanks to this perfectly organized private excursion. Picked up at the hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car, we were lucky to be accompanied by Arthur, our driver, who was always smiling and professional, as well as by Malac, our French-speaking guide, whose knowledge and kindness largely contributed to making this day an exceptional moment. The morning began with a two-hour guided tour of Pompeii. Thanks to our guide, we passionately discovered the fascinating history of this remarkably preserved ancient city. Throughout the trip, Malac shared many anecdotes and explanations with us about Italian history, culture, traditions, and gastronomy. Her excellent French, availability, and enthusiasm made every moment even more interesting. We then headed toward the Amalfi Coast, with several carefully chosen stops to admire the scenery. One of them allowed us to take superb photos of Mount Vesuvius, offering a magnificent panorama. Other breaks were planned at the most beautiful viewpoints on the coast to capture these spectacular landscapes. We then had lunch in Positano before enjoying some pleasant free time to discover this magnificent village, its picturesque alleys, and its shops. The day continued with a stop in Maiori, where we had the pleasure of tasting a delicious limoncello. A convivial moment that allowed us to discover one of the region's iconic specialties. Throughout this excursion, we felt that every detail had been thought out to provide us with a unique experience, stress-free and in the best conditions. A huge thank you to Arthur and Malac for their professionalism, their kindness, and their good humor. Thanks to them, we are leaving with memories filling our heads and magnificent photos. We booked this tour last minute when another tour company we had booked weeks ago called less than 18 hours before the scheduled start to cancel on us. Visiting Pompeii was the whole reason we came to Italy as a birthday gift to our daughter. With about 12 hours notice, we booked, confirmed, and were headed to Pompeii in our private van with Juliana and Jordan. This is a great trip. It’s a long day, but it goes by quickly. And while the private option is more expensive, you get a driver, a host, and a private guide at Pompeii allowing you to easily move from point to point with detailed information you would not get wandering on your own. Paolo, who is from Pompei, was our guide, and was very knowledgeable and passionate about educating us, and appreciated we wanted to learn as much as possible, not just as place of ruins, but of the lives of the people in the city before and during the disaster. After Pompeii we drove to Positano for lunch, where Juliana made several recommendations, and even got us seated at a sea side restaurant before disappearing into the crowd. The roads are narrow and winding, but Jordan navigated them with ease, and was always there to open the door and have the A/C running on what was a hot day. Throughout our trip, Juliana and Jordan were patient and attentive and let us ask questions and chatted with us, or just let us listen to music and take a nap after a long day on the way back to Rome. Pro Tip: even though it’s private and you have some flexibility, leave early so that you get to Pompeii as it opens. It feels like you have the whole place to yourself before the throngs of people start making the best sites crowded and less enjoyable. Your guide will be able to navigate you around with ease. We were able to get great pictures without people everywhere in the background. Thank you for giving our daughter a great 13th birthday present. We appreciate you and had a great time.

Ana (guide) and Alessio (driver) were wonderful throughout the whole tour. They were able to accommodate our requests and kept us comfortable the whole trip. The Amalfi Coast & Pompeii tour was wonderful. We were met at our apartment by Rome's best tour guide, Malak and our driver Giuseppe. We immediately requested a minor adjustment to the schedule which Malak resolved right away. The drive does take a little time to reach your destination but it was during this period that Malak's knowledge about the area was on display. She explained about the "Handshake of Teano", provided some history about Capua, the anicent city where Sparticus trained, and the about the many destructions and rebuilds of the historic Benadictine monastery, the Abbey of Montecassino. She explained the origin name of the Monti Lattari, the Milky Mountains, and that the highest peak encompasses the Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of gods, hiking trail that overlooks the Amalfi Coast. Once we reasched the (SS163) the Amalfi highway, Giuseppe's driving skills were exhibited. The roads were very narrow but he navigated without any any issues. Once we arrived, the beauty of Positano and Amalfi did not disappoint. I strongly recommend this tour
