Att resa med Secret Highlands ger dig tid och utrymme att verkligen ta in vårt vackra landskap. Det finns ingen annan turné som erbjuder dessa stopp så det här är en unik chans att utforska högländerna runt Inverness samt smaka på några av de bästa bakverk och fantastiska vilt hamburgare erbjuds! Med våra små grupper på högst 6, i vår VW Caravelle, kommer du verkligen att kunna fördjupa dig i naturen och naturen, vilket gör att din dag känns speciell och ger dig rätt! Om du vill uppleva avsvalkningspoolen på Plodda, vänligen meddela mig så att jag kan se till att du har en handduk och jag kan ge råd om vad du ska ta!

Vårt första stopp är med utsikt över den magnifika Loch Ness och ruinerna av Urquhart Castle. Vi kommer att stanna här i cirka 10 - 15 minuter för några foton och lära oss om några av de fantastiska fakta och legender som loch är känd för.
Innan vi når Glen Affric tar du en liten avstickare till det 4 000 år gamla kammargravröset vid Corrimony. Detta är ett av de bäst bevarade rösen på Skottlands fastland, så en fantastisk möjlighet att få en glimt av det gamla förflutna och lära sig om dessa mystiska människors kultur och seder.
Vi vänder oss inåt i landet och på vad många anser att vara Skottlands vackraste glen. Glen Affric är hem för några av Skottlands ursprungliga och antika tallar, som kallas granny Pines, liksom röda och röda rådjur, öron, ekorrar och en hel värd av djurliv. Vi kommer att stanna här i ca 1 timme så att du kan ta det fantastiska landskapet och ta en av de korta promenaderna längs floden.
Vi kommer att köra tillbaka längs den enkla spårvägen och över till andra sidan glen för att ta in Plodda falls - Skottlands 2: a högsta vattenfall, det är en kort promenad till botten, där, om du känner dig äventyrlig, kan du hoppa in till poolen för en simtur!
Vårt nästa stopp kommer att vara i Beauly där du kommer att kunna utforska den här vackra byn och det är förstört priory, en av endast 3 som vi byggdes i Skottland.

I did 2 day tours with Jamie - the Alternative Loch Ness and the Untamed North West. Both days were amazing. It was great to be away from the typical tourist spots and enjoy the quieter, and really spectacular locations. The walks were very enjoyable and it seemed as though there was a breathtaking view around every corner! Jamie is a great guide - really informative and lots of fun. The Untamed North West is almost worth doing just to taste the Lochinver pies!! I can't recommend Secret Highlands highly enough, my tours with Jamie were highlights of my holiday.
This was an amazing tour. We saw and experienced so much of the Highlands with our great tour guide, Jamie. He was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the area. He was funny and interesting and I highly recommend his tours.

My partner and I spent a full day with Jamie and we couldn’t have asked for more. An informative, in depth and totally customisable day for us. Each and every question we had, had a well thought out clear and enthusiastic answer. Anything we wanted to do Jamie found a way to fit it in if it was even vaguely possible. Lunch was sorted with us on the way, water and snacks available when we needed. All round genuinely lovely and passionate. Found Jamie and Secret Highlands on Google. Sent an email asking about a tour with hiking for a group of six. Jamie responded with a perfect itinerary. His Mercedes van was comfortable. The scenery was outstanding. By driving past the tourist spots and traveling into the woods you truly see the Highlands. We hiked in two areas, both scenic but different. Jamie was a wealth of information regarding the history of the area. We even had time for lunch at an excellent cafe and a brief Whiskey tasting.
So glad to have you all! It was such a fun day and I delighted to have been able to get everything in and you guys back for the ship in good time! It was great meeting you all!!
Jamie offered us a great day in the highlands and guided us through his homeland with great and interesting facts. We would do a tour with him again anytime. Nice guide with fine kilt 😅😎👌

Our tour of the Loch Ness area included a short cruise, castles, great friendly dining along the way, and fun stories of history and folklore. Jamie took us off course on our way to Edinburgh to see St Andrews Course. He was accommodating and fun.

10 stars. Amazing experience from start to finish. Jamie was our guide and he was incredibly friendly and delighted us with history and folk lore throughout the trip. The day was flexible and Jamie made it clear anything we wanted to stop and take photos off or ask about, just shout. He has a passion for the history and a reverence for the Scottish highlands that this beautiful landscape so clearly deserves. He made every stop feel magical and made this foreign (to us) landcsape feel approachable which made it so much more special. He also takes great pictures of you/your group!!
