The guide did not explain anything on the tour about the region, she just put us on the ferry and gave free time
I booked a 350$ trip, with Italy Adventures. I reached the point specified and asked the buses, they all said we are not Italy Adventures. I texted the operator through the Viator app, 15 minutes before departure time, no response. I reached out to Viatir support, they kept saying we cannot reach the operator! Then a Cia Florence person reaches out 11 minutes after the specified time to tell me come join this bus which i find out that it already left! I asked for a refund, and the app support is saying we are still trying to reach the operator to confirm the refund! I ended up with no trip and no refund!
Visiting Italy had always been our dream, and we really wanted to make the most and see as much of northern Italy as we could. We booked the All-in-One tour to Lake Como, Bellagio and Lugano from Milan and were really impressed and pleasantly surprised with how much we managed to see without it feeling hectic. Our guide was truly lovely, and very gracious and professional with our questions and requests. I have always wanted to see Lake Como, and it really is every bit as beautiful as you imagine, and the boat cruise was a definite highlight – I'm so pleased that was included in the tour. Seeing the luxurious villas and mountains from the water gives you a completely different perspective. Bellagio itself was charming and oh-so elegant, perfect for a relaxed wander and a coffee by the lake. Crossing into Lugano added some contrast to Como and Bellagio. As a city, it felt slightly more polished and cosmopolitan, and it was interesting to experience a touch of Switzerland too. A long day, but very well organised and absolutely worth it.
