We were a family of 4 with 2 kids in elementary school. This trip was just perfect for us. And I would definitely suggest this for everyone. Its neither too short to make you feel you overpaid for the trip, nor too long to waste an entire day. The kids enjoyed watching the dolphins play, and we were there for a sufficiently long time. This was followed by a Sandbar stop, where we could get into the water and enjoy Florida for what its famous for. During all these there will be enough food and drinks available. And the best part of the entire trip was the crew. The 3 ladies were simply amazing and ensured that everyone has a great time throughout the trip.
If you have a doubt about doing this, DON’T doubt! It is so much fun. Captain John was very friendly, slowed the boat down so we could get so many amazing dolphin pictures! Crew Sparky & Terry accommodated our every request- drinks (alcohol and non), even brought drinks INTO the sandbar area while we were floating around talking and relaxing. Well worth the price for all that you can experience!! Great for couples and families alike- truly something for every one. The water is shallow, clear and emerald. You can snorkel a little deeper or just float around with the boat’s water toys.
It was amazing, we saw lots of dolphins, food, drinks and service were great! Staff was friendly! Sand bar was shallow enough to stand and high enough to float! Well worth the money! It was a perfect and memorable experience! Highlight of our trip!!!
We had an amazing time on our sandbar excursion. Captain John and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time. The sandbar was beautiful, and the entire trip was relaxed, fun, and well organized. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do and go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Key West—you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing tour. All female crew including the captain. Excellent service, delicious food, and given that the level of sargassum was so high in June, this was one of the only opportunities for us to enjoy the water. We got to see multiple dolphins at the dolphin playground and learn about their habitat from the crew. Would recommend this tour and Sunset Water Sports.
