Att utforska de mest avlägsna och utmanande glaciärerna i Lago Argentino är möjligt genom segling, vilket erbjuder den unika möjligheten att ge sig ut på en katamaran eller utforska från balkongerna och däcket, perfekt för att ta fantastiska fotografier. Landningen vid Spegazzini-basen, en bit mark mitt i Argentinosjöns oändlighet och glaciärfältet. Det låter dig ta promenader med den mest spektakulära utsikten över nationalparken.

Efter att ha hämtat passagerare från deras centralt belägna hotell från klockan 07:00, reser vi med bekväm buss till hamnen i Punta Bandera, som ligger 47 km från El Calafate. För de som väljer alternativet utan transfer möts vi vid Punta Bandera hamn klockan 8:30 för att börja segla.
När alla passagerare är ombord börjar kryssningen på norra armen av Lago Argentino klockan 9.00. Vi korsade Djävulens mun mot Upsalakanalen, seglande mellan enorma isberg som hade brutits loss från Upsalaglaciärens framsida. När du kommer in i Spegazzini-kanalen kan du njuta av panoramautsikt över olika glaciärer, med möjlighet att ta fotografier vid utsedda stopp för att observera de imponerande isblocken.
Under hela turen kommer passagerare att ha möjlighet att se flera av de många glaciärerna som finns i Lago Argentino, inklusive Seco-glaciären, Spegazzini-glaciären, South Heim-glaciären och Peineta-glaciären. Under navigering kan du beundra isblocken från olika vinklar, vilket gör att du kan ta de bästa fotografierna.
Vi går av vid La Base Spegazzini för att vandra genom den 300 meter långa stigen genom skogen till Spegazzini Refuge. Det är tillgängligt och representerar inte komplexitet eftersom det görs på fast mark. Utstationering kommer att göras på olika stationer (glaciologi - Historia - Fauna och Flora) med utsiktspunkter med utsikt över hela Glaciärbukten. Väl i Refuge kan du njuta av gastronomin, butiken och en otrolig panoramautsikt från dess rum och från utsidan (Deck & Terrace). En annan möjlighet är att ta bergsleden, med medel svårighetsgrad, genom en skogsstig, med naturliga utsiktspunkter, fulla av otroliga vyer som slutar vid landningsplatsen.
Väl tillbaka ombord fortsätter vi den andra etappen av resan till Punta Bandera, dit vi räknar med att anlända runt 16:00. Därefter, för de som har valt alternativet med transfer, är återresan till El Calafate planerad till cirka 17.00.

It was a wonderful experience, all the staff very friendly and helpful. The very safe catamaran and the exceptional glacier visit
Great boat trip. We loved the Glaciers and the lunch venue. We booked on Vaitor and there was a big mess up somewhere between Viator and the tour company. We were told 830am pick up at our hotel. We received a call at 7:30 AM to ask why we were not ready for pick up. We caught a taxi to the jetty which cost us US$60. The tour company confirmed they would refund us and after requesting a refund, they denied the refund on the basis that there was a confusion over the ticket, even though we received two reminders to pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. My advice is that you take great care when confirming whether you are booking a transfer or no transfer and what your subsequent pick up time is.
It was exceptional and well organised. Everything went to plan and was on time from pick up to drop off.
We were picked up by a combi from the hotel, very friendly. They took us several km to where we boarded a boat, a sublime experience, the front of the glacier is something indescribable for the extraordinary, the very good explanations, when you return they wait for you and leave you in the afternoon night at the hotel. Highly recommended. Don't stop doing it.
A wonderful experience. Unique views of the glaciers. The guides were excellent. The haven where lunch is made, beautiful and with amazing views.
Boat trip where you can see the glaciers in the distance, but it is like seeing them on the walkways and it is free... I prefer the excursion where you will touch the glacier with the blue safari. Besides, I was queuing up to be stamped on migrations and he came after us a group with a guide, and they got ahead of us to board earlier and stay in the best places, a lack of respect... they treat you like cattle... besides you complain and justify themselves... they are a lot of scumbags.

Excellent service from only Patagonia offering a complete package of boat transportation, Guides and gastronomy. The Spegazzini refuge is worth seeing.

Amazing tour! Beautiful navigation across the lake, passing by the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier. On the way we can see icebergs that have broken off and the images are surreal! Pay extra to stay on the top deck! It is worth it! The place where we stopped for lunch also has a wonderful view!
