Byggt på toppen av en klippa, kapellet i Sra. Da Rocha låter dig beundra den vackra kusten och klippformationerna. På väg västerut kommer du att presenteras för byn Ferragudo, en traditionell fiskeby som har utsikt över Portimãos mynning. Efter att ha korsat floden Arade genom den gamla bron, kommer du att ha möjlighet att beskåda från toppen av utsiktspunkten Fort of Santa Catarina, floden, flodens mynning och den långa Praia da Rocha. När du anländer till den charmiga staden Lagos kommer en valfri entimmes båttur att förvåna dig eftersom den tar våra turister till Ponta da Piedade-grottor och klippformationer. En måste-upplevelse. Den historiska stadskärnan har fortfarande kvar sin särprägel, med kullerstensgator, autentiska restauranger och en atmosfär som är avslappnad och välkomnande. En fascinerande och oförglömlig tur längs kusten. En fantastisk upplevelse att minnas.

På den magnifika udden Senhora da Rocha finns Senhora da Rochas kapell. Enligt historiska källor var kapellet omgivet av en gammal fästning (1400-talet), som dominerade hela kusten mellan Faro och Lagos, och skyddade befolkningen och kusten men fästningen förstördes under jordbävningen 1755.
Gå längs kullerstensgatorna i denna pittoreska by. Du kommer att ha möjlighet att gå upp till kullen till utsiktspunkten för huvudkyrkan Our Lady of Conception (magnifik utsikt för bilder av Portimão City och Arade River). Nedstigning till stranden Angrinha vid Praia Grande
Vi fortsätter till Praia da Rocha och besöker fortet Santa Catarina för att beundra floden Arade, dess mynning och den berömda stranden Praia da Rocha. Utmärkt tid att "stoppa" och ta en drink innan du beger dig till Lagos.

We spent a lovely day with Johnny and saw the lovely sights that the Algarve coast had to offer. As soon as Johnny picked us up he said that the day was "about us" and that he would tailor the day around us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region and gave the impression that he is passionate about the subject and proud of his country. We very much enjoyed walking around Lagos with Johnny and will definitely go back and spend more time there in the future and would also like to explore the caves in that part of the coast and Johnny has offered to help us book that in the future. All in all we had a lovely day and feel that we have found a new friend.

Johnny was the best private tour guide we had during our 2-week Portugal adventure. He took us through the Algarve and showed us so many beautiful hidden spots and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. My friends and I booked this tour in advance of our visit to Algarve (there were six of us). Johnny arrived to pick us up at our hotel and we immediately knew it would be a fun day! He is warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. He customized the itinerary to make sure we didn’t overlap with anything else. We were going to see other days. He even booked us to see the Benagil caves as part of our day, which helped we had planned on doing on a separate day which helped consolidate our activities and allow more free time. He took us to so many breathtaking places and was so wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough. He also made recommendations for us as we continued our trip in Spain, which we took advantage of and were fabulous. you will not regret touring with Johnny!

Johnny gave us an excellent tour. We saw a stork farm (that's what we called it), quite a bit of fascinating coastline, and coastal boardwalks that gave great views. Johnny never rushed us and answered all of our questions. He has a great depth of Knowledge about the local environment, including problems with algae incursions, and local (Algarve) history.
We so very much appreciated Johnny's texts to us preceding our day tour. He carefully arranged a boat tour to Beagil caves - perfect time of day and operated by a courteous and informative crew that took us along the beautiful coastline and into spectular caves. Johnny's tour included a stop to see handpainted tile work - so pretty! and lunch overlooking a beautiful beach. We stopped at several amazing overlooks. Thank you, Johnny, for a wonderful day!
This tour was nothing short of amazing. Johnny truly enjoys doing this and his enthusiasm is proof of that. Johnny’s tour was the highlight of our 10 day trip to Portugal. He tailored the tour to my family and took us to the best spots and was quite the family photographer! Definitely book this trip and you will be happy you did!
