Great day out. Well organised and good value for money . The pick up from the hotel was on time, the buffet lunch was good and we had an informative guide

We were staying in Corfu and wanted to do a day trip to Albania. This was perfect! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was nice to have lunch included. It was a great day!

Great experience, we found the whole thing to be very well organised, the guide we had for Butrint had a huge amount of knowledge and you could tell he loved the history. The buffet Albanian lunch was really good, loads of choice and we left full. You're given a good amount of time to walk around the shops, get an ice cream and relax in Seranda before heading back to the boat. Can't fault it and Albania was beautiful!

We had a good time but it's worth noting that if you do the tour to Butrint with lunch we actually only got 1 hr 15 minutes in Saradna to ourselves. It's a lot of travelling with pick up drop off etc. We also had to wait when we got back to Corfu for another boat tour to come back to go back to Sidari so were possibly waiting maybe 30 - 45 minutes extra. We thought we'd be back at hotel for 6.45pm as states but didn't get back until around 7.30pm. It's maybe worth doing if you just do the Albania part but the tour takes up until around 1.30pm we had to meet back up for ferry at 2.45pm. I'd say a good half of the trip time is on travel. Just not sure it's worth the extra tour, lunch was ok. Staff who do the tour were also friendly.

It was our first time staying in Nissaki, so when we booked the trip, before we went, we had no idea where anything was situated so we had to take a guess at the nearest pick up point available, which proved to be 30 minutes walk way from our apartment, not much fun at 6.15am, had we been able to put the address of our apartment into a search engine, it would have revealed that the nearest pick up was at the top of our road and not 30 minutes away ! Apart from that, the trip was very enjoyable, the guide was extremally knowledgeable and friendly and brought the history of Butrint to life, a site I had never heard about until our visit, so interesting. We then had lunch , which was not really to our taste, but that is our personal choice , and many enjoyed it, as they had their plates over heaped with everything on offer Saranda was a lovely seaside town , where we enjoyed a welcome drink and a mooch around , very lively and buzzy. The day was well organised ,sometimes involving a bit of patience as queuing was unavoidable at passport controls, not always helped by the individuals who can't understand the concept, sadly they are unavoidable as well ! Overall the experience was very good and I can recommend it

A lot of hanging around with not a lot of communication food poor the best thing about it was the cats and dog in Butrint and in Sarande the homemade lemonade

I am happy to correct the application in retrospect. So far, it feels rather completely uncoordinated. We are currently on the ferry, still on Corfu, and given the lack of reception, we have no idea if it is the right one, especially since we also booked a Butrint tour. As I said, the day has just begun, but so far with more of a gut feeling of unease than anticipation.

- top notch historian Butrint tour guide who knew his facts inside out. Kudos to him! - great day out in Albania - the lunch deal should be renegotiated with the restaurant as they were overcharging on drinks. This didn’t give the best impression of Albania.

Booked through Compass in the Main Street of Acharavi. Maria was relly helpful and l couldn't fault her service. However, on the day of pick up, we were told a Yellow bus would pick us up at 6.30. It never came. At 7.30 a white one turned up and after a very confusing 10 minutes the driver said he take us to the port. At the dock all was good and the transfer and trip across the bay were fine. Albania was really interesting, the castle was in a great setting, the ruins were explained in great detail by our guide and lunch was delicious. Then we had free time at the harbour. Unfortunately, it was siesta time and all that were open were expensive tat stalls and the seafront restaurants. Trip back was good, but, oh dear, an hour to get through passports after a long day was a bit much. I would reccommend both Albania and Compass, but some of the timing and detail is a bit stressful.
