We had the most amazing tour led by Maria from Travel Curious! I’m Greek born in the US and have been to the Acropolis and Parthenon more times than I have fingers on which to count. For our son’s first trip to Greece and the Acropolis, it was very important to me to ensure that he had all the relevant background and history while touring the sites. Maria delivered a 5+ Star private tour! I love that we started early (8:15 AM) so that we could beat the crowds. it was almost like we had the entire Acropolis to ourselves. Wear sturdy shoes with good tread. ( we’re over 70) it is a walk uphill, but taking it moderately was fine. Go early through September, we went at 0815, before we left it got busy. Our guide was excellent!
