We had a great experience. Our guide Air raid Warden Faye was fabulous. She engaged with the group well and we loved the snippets of local real life stories included with the expected facts and figures. The obvious issues that we and many others have with the commercial history of the buildings we were guided past was not glossed over, neither was it a distraction from the WWII theme of the tour. Well done Faye, and many thanks for showing us stuff we would never have found ourselves, and for bringing living memory to life in such an engaging and interesting way.
Amazing visit today in to the shelter. Nice to bee what is hidden beneath. Will be back to do it again.
What an incredible tour!! As somebody who has lived in bristol my whole life i had no idea this was right in the centre. Abigail is an extraordinary guide and an absolute asset to this experience. She was very knowledgable and it was very obvious she has a strong passion for history. I will most definitely be planning another visit!

This is a great experience, the guide was friendly knowledgeable and engaging. He was happy to listen to stories from locals and shared tales previously told. As a bristolian I had no idea this was here under the heart of our city. The tour size and length was just right.
A genuininely fascinating and eye-opening tour! The guide Duncan was clearly extremely passionate about the information, and gave a brilliant performance and tour that was engaging and incredibly informative - highly recommend!
Knowledgeable guide who seemed very passionate about the history of Bristol bombing. My daughter is 14 and loves the history of world war so throughly enjoyed it and so did we. It appeared to be a fairly newish tour as works were still being carried out. Would be nice to experience when works have been done and can visit all of the shelter.
