Vår privata rundtur tar 3 - timmar som grovt delas upp i 80 minuter på Akropolis och tillhörande tempel, teatrar och byggnader, och 80 minuter på Akropolismuseet. MÖT VÅR GUIDE. Din Guide kommer att vänta på "Acropoli" tunnelbanestation på gatunivå som ligger på 7 Makrygianni Street, och nära Akropolismuseet Vår mötesplats ger ett idealiskt perspektiv för att se den omgivande muren på Akropolis byggd av den tidigare mykenska civilisationen och för att ge dig en introduktion till Akropolis historia, dess betydelse och roll i livet i det antika Grekland, och en översikt över de tempel och fantastiska monument du kommer att se. Om du väljer alternativet "CITY TOUR LYXFORDON" ingår returtransfer så att vi kommer att vara på ditt hotell eller kryssningsterminal för att möta dig.
TOURING ACROPOLIS och PARTHENON. Vanligtvis fortsätter du först med ett besök på Akropolis som varar i cirka 80 minuter under vilken tid du kommer att se alla tempel, teatrar och tillhörande byggnader som den monumentala porten (Propylaea), Herodes Atticus Odeon, Athena Nikes tempel, Erechtheum och naturligtvis Parthenon.
Fortfarande i ett gott skick av bevarande, är en av våra första stopp den antika TEATERN i Dionysos. Byggd på 300- och 400-talet f.Kr. i en naturlig amfiteater på Akropolis sluttningar skulle den ha haft en imponerande kapacitet på 25000, den anses vara världens äldsta. Otroligt att tro att många av de mest kända antika grekiska pjäserna skulle ha haft sina ursprungliga premiärer här!
Stig upp mot den monumentala porten (Propylaia) och ingången till Akropolis. När Akropolis tempel kommer in i bilden, skulle de antika grekerna ha hälsats av en enorm dekorerad bronsstaty av gudinnan Athena. Enligt legenden kunde spetsen på hennes spjut ses av inkommande skepp i solljuset.
Byggt omkring 420 f.Kr., och ett av de tidigaste templen på Akropolis, var detta klassiska joniska tempel tillägnat gudinnan Athena och är till stor del restaurerat, med en framträdande position med utsikt över staden.
Det här templet var höjdpunkten på den klassiska grekiska ”guldåldern” och var ett oöverträffat mästerverk inom konst, arkitektur och ingenjörskonst samt hjärtat av antikens grekiska ceremoni och dyrkan i Aten. Vi tar oss tid på detta viktigaste tempel med en översikt över dess konstruktion, mytologi och historiska betydelse.
Akropolis näst största tempel, Erechtheion tillägnades både Zeus och gudinnan Aten och din Guide kommer att belysa några av dess underbara mytologi och huvudaspekter såsom dess imponerande statyer som du nu kommer att se i museet.
Byggd år 161 e.Kr. av Herodes Atticus till minne av sin fru, fortsätter denna fantastiska amfiteatern i marmor som en arbetsteater till våra dagar.

Our tour guide Betty was highly professional and managed our time most efficiently. As a native Athenian licensed in History of Art, she combined knowledge, practical experience, teaching skills, and a clear pride in the past of her beautiful city. Private guide is absolutely the best way to do the Acropolis tour. The guide added good info in the museum but would be ok without. She was very knowledgeable and wonderful to us, but her interactions with a few strangers where she tried to correct their behavior at points during the tour made my teens uncomfortable as they did not like the attention on us. For the most part she was doing so to get people to move so we could have a better experience but we are not people who like to make a fuss. Would recommend the tour and company but not sure I would recommend this particular guide unless you don’t mind how outspoken she was to others.

We just came back from our excursion and it was just amazing! The tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum was so interesting and our guide, Effie, was amazing! She not only was extremely knowledgeable but she made it fun for the kids in our group. Petros, our driver was awesome too. He picked us up on time and was so nice. On the city sightseeing portion, he explained everything and it was so interesting. I highly recommend this tour especially with the car. Really fantastic!

Our tour of the Acropolis and the museum went very well. We met at the intended place right on time. Our guide was experienced and knowledgeable. She is an archeologist and educator, and it showed in the depth of her knowledge of the history of the place and its people. The pacing was good, though we could've spent more time and had more detail in the museum. Also, it would be nice to just have the tickets included in the pricing, rather than have to arrange for them separately.
